Still after 3 weeks *by R***S on August 31, 2020* If this bike was a pick-up truck, it would be an F-350 with turbo diesel and off-road tires. Built tough, rugged, solid. Looks mean. Arrived one day late, no big deal. Mostly complete out of the box. Easy to assemble for someone familiar with bicycles with minimum look at instructions (which were not very helpful).First ride was a kick in the pants. Street is up steep driveway from garage. Selected throttle mode and powered up the drive with no pedals. Once on the street, I took off. If it had wings, I would have flown.Couple of really nice features: Only 7 gears, not 21 like many e-bikes. With all of that available power, there is no need for more gears that would only get in the way and increase the chances of something going wrong. Humongous tires! Comfortable ride and firm traction. 500W power. I'm 190 pounds and I wanted something that would get me up that last hill if I needed it. On level roadway, it's like riding a rocket.BTW, I'm 72 years old.SECOND REVIEW -- Three weeks later. I've put over 100 miles on it in the past three weeks, riding almost every day except during Hurricane Sally. Still a 5-star rating, but a few words of caution.1. Assembly instructions are terrible. A few parts left over with no hint of where they go. Step one was to install the kick-stand, but it was already installed so I skipped that step. It consists of two parts held together with a small screw. After a week, the screw fell out and part of the kickstand was lost while riding. Not I have to improvise a replacement.2. The rear fender is cheap plastic. I stripped the thread trying to tighten it enough to stay in place, so now I ride without one.3. Rear reflector attaches to the seat post, but if you have short legs, like I do, and the seat is all the way down next to the frame, the reflector can't be mounted where it can be seen.As soon as I can make a replacement rear fender, I'll mount a reflector on it and be good to go.In spite of these minor irritants, I'd buy it again. Great exercise and fun.BTW. Everyone who has seen it likes the way it looks. ### ⭐ Not Worth MONEY AND TIME *by L***E on April 9, 2025* I don't usually do reviews but I rely on them when purchasing items. This bike is not worth it!!! I brought it for my son who's car broke down and this would get him back and forth to work. I had it 4 months and while trying to change the inner tub, the wire connection broke. I purchased the extended warranty, good thing I did. It took me 4 months for them to tell me that it couldn't be fixed and I will receive a refund. I'm happy to get the refund but the time it took for them to tell me that. I got Asurion insurance. For 4 months they kept telling me that they waiting on the factory to respond. With modern technology it doesn't take 4 months to look at pictures and determine if it's fixable. Going forward. I will be more careful of big ticket items I purchase. Now I'm waiting on someone to contact me about the refund. How long will that take??? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing bike! *by J***. on July 30, 2020* I have only had this bike 2 days, but so far I love it. I'd been hankering after one of these for about a year (but it was beyond what I could afford).I've never used an ebike before so I can't compare it with anything else. What I can say though, is that it tackles hills with ease, it's comfortable to ride and very easy to use. I did a test run on it today to see how long my commute would take, and also how long the school run would take... and it's comparable/(due to traffic) a lot faster than taking a car. I've used it in pedal assist mode for the hills (of which there are many around where I live/work) and throttle for flat roads. I'm also hoping to use through winter (assuming no ice/snow). Honestly, I've been riding about on this with a huge grin on my face. Asthma has meant that I can't tackle hills etc like I used to be able to, which has really got me down. This is going to be a fab way for me to get fit again, save time on my commute/school run and be a bit more environmentally friendly. I'll review again after I have had it for a while. ## Frequently Bought Together - Speedrid Electric Bike 26" Fat Tire Electric Bike for Adult Electric Mountain Bike with Peak 750W 48V 10.4Ah Removable Battery, 3H Fast Charge, Lockable Suspension Fork-7 Speed - Speedrid Electric Bike 26" Fat Tire Electric Bike for Adult, 25mph Peak 750W 48V 10.4/ 13Ah Removable Battery Electric Mountain Bike, Commuting Off Road Ebike 7 Speed & Front Suspension Fast Charge - ROCKBROS Bike/Bicycle Phone Front Frame Bag, Waterproof, Tube Bag,Cycling Pouch, Bike Accessories for Men Compatible Phone Under 6.5” --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/603619554-speedridelectric-bike-26-fat-tire-electric-bike-for-adult-electric](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/603619554-speedridelectric-bike-26-fat-tire-electric-bike-for-adult-electric) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
