Best Mouthwash I Have Ever Tried. Wish I Knew About It Years Ago.
I have not been paid by Amazon, ioRinse nor any vendor on Amazon. Nor have I received any incentive for my review. I have tried many mouthwashes from different brands and was never impressed until I tried the ioRinse mouthwash. I wish I would have known about this many years ago. I will never switch away from this mouthwash. Yes, it is a little pricey but well worth every penny. My mouth and teeth have not felt this good in many years. This product really works and provides a layer of protection on top of your teeth. Gentle on your tongue and gums but the biggest benefit is that it does provide a layer of protection over your teeth. If you truly care for your gums and teeth, buy it and it doesn't matter from what vendor/seller. There is a reason why dentist offices around the country use it. I will never switch away from this.

Bear with me here..
Ok, bear with me. First off, this stuff tastes absolutely terrible. My method to use this is in this order: Waterpik, Sonicare, mouthwash (cheap local grocery store, gotta get the type that burns, no alcohol) IO Rinse, then three sprays of breath freshener. The first time I used this I literally gagged. It is absolutely gross. However, IT WORKS. I wake up and even a few hours later my mouth still feels fresh. Even at 10-11 am if I were to wait to have my coffee, I still have that lingering mouth care taste you get when you brush then drink anything but water. I had a dental tech measure gum / bone depth (I'm not familiar with all the lingo) and I had one that had a high measurement. She recommended The IO Rinse and that's when I started on it. 90 days later she measured again and there was a VAST improvement on that tooth. Though it truly tastes awful, I continue to buy and use this because it works incredibly well!

As a Dental Hygienist, I say, PLEASE USE IT
TLDR: Absolutely worth it. Use the concentrate in your waterpik, and the RTU straight, to combat dental decay, periodontal disease, gingivitis, and halitosis (bad breath). I am a Registered Dental Hygienist practicing in NY, with over a decade of experience in treating thousands of patients over the years. The battle against the bacteria which cause gingivitis, periodontal disease and dental caries (cavities) is a primary goal of all in the dental field, so any genuinely new advance in the science of antimicrobials is a serious---and exciting---matter. About six months ago, I attended a continuing education session on the topic of molecular iodine solutions in the dental field. It was sponsored by ioRinse, who have patented the process by which to stabilize elemental iodine (two iodine molecules bonded together, not a compound, many species of which appear in povidone iodine, the dark brown liquid for hospital and home use) in solution. As usual, I went in with a bit of skepticism, as continuing education classes often amount to little more than sales presentations. As the class progressed, however, with peer-reviewed scientific study after study and numerous clinical case studies, my curiosity was piqued. The inclusion of xylitol, another tooth-friendly ingredient, and no alcohol were a bonus. They did, of course, offer free samples of their mouthwashes to the dental professionals attending, so I accepted and tried them out myself. The next morning, I had zero morning breath. No tongue coating, nothing. I was shocked, to say the least. I used up my samples and immediately ordered the full size bottle of concentrate on Amazon out of my own pocket. I have been using a half capful diluted in my waterpik reservoir a couple times a week over the last six months (the directions say a full capful, but my reservior is mini; handheld would also use less). The improvement in my oral health is unmistakable. The bottle lasts forever, too. I recommend it now to all my patients who have issues with gingivitis, perio, or caries, even though really all of them could use it safely, unlike the previous go-to for perio patients (chlorhexidine gluconate), which is prescription only and toxic to use for more than two weeks. In contrast, anyone can use ioRinse, every day, for the rest of their life, completely safely. I only wish it was not proprietary and a generic version was available for cheaper, but I suppose we can't begrudge the inventors their patent, haha. It is a game changer for dentistry, and I cannot wait until it becomes more well-known and widely used. It will make my job a lot easier!

Works but Stains
The other review stating that you only get 8 uses per bottle is wrong. It's over 30, and if you don't need the full 300mL of waterpik solution, you get more of course. And then if you want to cut back on the concentration - again, more. The RTU and Concentrate bottles are very similar, and it's easy to pick up the concentrate instead of the RTU. I did this and ended up with a capful of concentrate in my mouth - gross. The taste is not as nice as the RTU, but then again it's really made for a different purpose. The concentrate has a more astringent 'taste' even when diluted to the proper ratio in a water flosser. This works well, my only complaint is that the iodine separates from the solution, leaving tiny specks, and it will stain clear water flosser containers.

A mouthwash that works and doesn't burn
My dentist recommended the ioRinse Mouthwash when my husband and I went for our regular checkup. I was very impressed with the taste, gentleness and pleasant flavor. I was also impressed that my teeth felt clean al day. I've been using it now for 1 year.

Clean and refreshing
So far it has done what is described. Has a minty antiseptic taste. Feels clean and refreshes the gums.

Weigh what's important to you
Ultimately I like this mouthwash and it has been the best at keeping my mouth from being gross. I was fighting with persistent breath problems despite brushing as often as I could. Your mouth will feel like a blank slate after using this. This mouthwash helps clear up canker sores fast! And if you're one to bite your tounge often this helps clear that damage quickly also. If you're curious what a hospital tastes like, good news! I got used to the taste eventually. Now I can't rave about this stuff. It's a balance of pros and cons. At first I was using this once - twice a day. DON'T. This stained my teeth a nice brown red, like when they rub iodine on your arm. I was so happy the stains came off with a cleaning at the dentist. The hygenist told me to ease up on using the mouthwash. I now use this sparingly. Let's also not forget the cost of this stuff is about as much as a tank of gas. Definitely add it to your subscribe and save. They have good deal here and there.

Doing a good job.
This seems to be really good product. Been using it for about 1 week so far and it seems that my breath is much better and mouth seems healthier. Knocking down the gingivitis. I recommend this.

Got recommended by a dental specialist
Was recommended by specialist to use before and after dental surgery and honestly i love it because i tend to get food stuck in the back in my gums and tooth which is hard to get with a toothbrush it like it melt everything (softens it up) and makes it more easier to remove. Price wise im like dang but it works
