While the mat itself worked. It did not hold up to daily DDR. I bought it back in October 2016 and it only lasted till the start of January. While all my other pads have lasted at least a year or more. Do not buy this if you expect to do heavy use.

Excellent product
Product came in on time and it works perfectly fine. I have no complaints. The dance does slip around on carpet floor, so. It's best placed on a hard surface with the provided adhesives.

What a surprise....
Ok, first of all, what I got in the package looked nothing like what I was expecting. (The product features list was useless and irrelevant anyway.) The picture shows what looks like a traditional Konami dance pad, but what I got was a generic third-party multi-platform (supports PS2, Gamecube, Wii, and PC) dance pad that looked totally different. Second of all, I don't think this pad will last long for an advanced level dancer such as I. I used it last night, and it feels ridiculously slippery. I don't mean it slides around the floor a lot, I mean that the pad itself slips ON ITSELF. I would step around and sometimes the top layer of the pad would scrunch up while the bottom remains flat...this cannot be good for the sensors at all. Does that make sense? (That's my experience though, I don't think this will apply to everyone.) I also noticed that it's considerably lighter than my other two RedOctane dance pads (which lasted for 5 years), which really puts a lot of doubt of its quality issue. Also, the up arrow is indeed a little faulty. It can randomly activate a little too early or not at all on advanced level play, which implies that the internal circuits aren't too well designed. Overall, this is one fragile DDR pad that I wouldn't recommend to advance level players. Moral of the story: never trust those third-party multi-platform pads for quality. (I'll update again when the pad is destroyed.)

Great for beginners
It's great for someone who's either just getting into or just getting back into DDR. Not the best, but it's responsive and works well. It is a little slick on carpet though.

Save your money...
This pad came with a very strong smell like i guess rubbing alcohol or something i don't know but it was so strong i felt i could barely breathe and i had to stop playing and take the mat out and lay it out somewhere else outside the room because the smell was too strong. While playing i noticed that the mat does NOT light up as this display box states here whilst trying to sell the product. Also if you are doing heavy songs or harder difficulty level songs the pad scrunches up while trying to dance and get the arrows, which makes playing the game very unpleasant and its quite disappointing. When i tried to notify the seller about this they refused to help me out at all and were very discourteous to me. It doesn't matter to them since its not their money that was wasted and could of been used on something better. It might be cheap for the most part but when shipping comes into play that's nearly 20 dollars and when you're on a budget even letting go 10 dollars can be devastating. I've been playing DDR for a long time so this really breaks my heart to receive such a crappy mat and having to look for some thing else now. I was so happy that i was going to be able to play DDR again but i guess that's not going to happen for now. Save your money, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

It works, but there's better.
When I first became addicted to dancing games, specifically Dance Dance Revolution, I went right out and purchased a game for the Playstation, along with a pair of Naki dance mats. And for the first few weeks, I really had a lot of fun playing. Then, I got better. And the pads got worse. As I moved up to harder and faster songs, the mats started sliding around significantly on the carpet. They stopped responding fast enough when I had to step on them quickly. I started to become annoyed with them very quickly, and haven't touched them in months, preferring to play on arcade machines. The mat is sufficient for a beginning player. But the problem is that no player will stay a beginner for long, and the mat doesn't have the quality to be truly useful for more advanced players. There's also a very significant engineering flaw with the mats - often, you'll step on one of the arrows, and your foot will overlap one of the corner buttons. And when that happens, often no other button on the pad will respond until you've stopped stepping on the multiple buttons at once. When you're playing on a faster song, it becomes very easy for this to occur, and suddenly the controller is not registering steps that you're making. This is not a flaw in the Playstation either - the standard controllers work fine in this situation, and higher quality dance mats don't have that problem either. This is simply a huge engineering flaw in these pads.So I'd recommend that you stay away from these mats, and find ones of higher quality if you plan on seriously playing dance games on your Playstation. They'll cost more, but they'll also last a lot longer.

Durable
This pad works very well. Great price. After a while the plastic DOES rip but that's because my brother and I have been using it as a work-out device. Nothing a nice piece of tape can't fix. The up-arrow key tends to "press" on its own, however it does not interfere with the game play because when you step on it it still records it.
