There are 2 different models. One with 4 cans and one with 5 cans. 5 can model is smaller cans.

whats the difference between ordering "one size" and "one unit"?

Holy smokes, you've got me on this one. If you're looking for one tray with 3 cans order the "one size". Poor description (with no information on what a "unit" is). Amazon needs to clarify for sure. "Units" might mean the number of trays you are ordering but that really doesn't check out when you see the price for X number of units. Way out of line $$$$ as opposed to ordering multiples of "one size". Shoot an email to the seller or Amazon and see what you can find out. Wish I could help more but that description is bizarre ... !

If it’s the 4 can, it is a standard 30 caliber ammo box, the 3 can ones are standard 50 caliber ammo box. Hope that helps.
