By now I have found out that you got to be careful with ordering these books, some of the older ones are hard to find, and you got to make sure you order them in the correct language. The 192-page soft cover book looks the same as the first one in the series, so this might be the start of a large, and expensive collection, that will eventually take up quite some space on you bookshelf. It looks like typical magna, a style of comic book art that I’m less attracted to personally, but who knows, maybe I’ll pick it up some day. Yet little did it know that actually the Promised Neverland series is not really a happy and sweet high school-type of story. It is about an orphanage where the children are secretly being farmed, and to be processed as food for demons, it more like horror-theme with shocking moments. My daughter explained to me that this book is about their escape and how the children’s caretaker, Mom, has brought in support to keep the orphans in line... So there is a Sister Krone that is after they plans, while they also find a spy in their ranks. The entertaining story is fast-paced with several exciting twists and our daughter is now asking for the next book in the series.
