KitchenAid Blade Coffee Grinder and Spice Grinder Combo Pack, Onyx Black

So far really enjoying this product! Bought a less expensive coffee grinder at first but ended up returning it because it didn't have the same aesthetic and capability as this one. Durability/Quality It's VERY durable, classic Kitchen Aid quality. Features/Capability I LOVE the fact that it is so versatile and can both grind my coffee and then also turn into an herb grinder. Since I've been growing my own cilantro, basil, parley and oregano this feature has been awesome!! Accessories LOVE that it comes with a separate smaller cannister and lid for the herb grinder feature Usability SUPER easy to use and clean. The cannister twists in and out super easy without any problem Price Little more expensive that I preferred to spend originally, but as I stated before I did return the cheaper option that I first tried and SO glad I went with this one!! This will probably be the one and only grinder I'll ever have needed to buy!

I bought this grinder for grinding coffee beans to make cold brew coffee after the cheap Proctor Silex one I had burned up. I knew I wanted one that you could take apart and clean the blade and under it because my old one had gotten where I would have to get a pair of pliers out and loosen the blade up to get it to turn after I would let it sit for a while unused. Right out of the box I ground up a pound of coffee beans , coarse ground in less than 5 minutes. I did put a layer of thin saran wrap over the top of the metal jar with the beans before putting the clear plastic lid on to engage the grinder since other reviewers had complained that some of the debris had leaked out. This solved any mess from escaping and the grinder worked just fine. It was simple to use, simple to clean and the best part is mine came with not one, but 2 spice grinders in the box. Now I can get all those spices in my cabinet that seem to want to harden due to the humidity in my house ground up again without leaving any lingering taste to my coffee grinder! So far I'm loving this thing.

The KitchenAid Blade Coffee Grinder and Spice Grinder works great! It’s super easy to use and grinds coffee beans evenly for a fresh brew every time. I also use it for spices, and it handles them perfectly. The build quality feels very solid and durable — you can tell it’s made to last. It might be a little overpriced compared to some other grinders, but you definitely pay for quality. Very happy with this versatile and reliable appliance!

I've been using this grinder regularly since I purchased it in 2021 (it's 2026), and it does an excellent job. I like that it came with different grinding cannisters. I would definitely recommend it. I debated between 3-4 stars - and 5 for one simple reason. The plastic cap on the cannisters does not fit tight - it just basically sits there. Sometimes, even when you think you can the cannister locked it, it's not and what you're grinding blow out into the cap and sometimes the counter. This is very annoying. So, buy this if you want a strong motor, just be careful about the locking mechanism. If KitchenAid even comes with a cap that fits tightly - I would absolutely buy replacement caps.

Bought this years ago and barely have used it because of how absolutely horrible this thing is. Just used it for the first time in probably 2 years to simply grind spices (as it should do). The plastic lids don’t stay on so spices go everywhere, the bigger blender doesn’t even actually fit so it’s unusable. Single handedly the worst kitchen equipment I have and will be throwing away ASAP. Waste of $50, DO NOT BUY!!

Excellent grinder. Contrary to some reviews, the powdered product does NOT fly around! The tall bowl is for coffee, and needs no additional lid. Because it is tall, it reaches near the overall device lid and the product stays within. The two shorter bowls for spices have additional plastic lids you use with the overall device lid, and the ground spices stay enclosed. I suspect the reviewers who said the ground items fly about did not use the additional plastic lids with the smaller bowls. Very happy with th purchase. Seems very durable due to stainless steel, and is nice looking.

So for the main purpose of grinding things, this really does work fantastic. I use it for Coffee, as well as spices like whole cinnamon sticks, and event for things like activate charcoal. This can grind things so fine that when you open it, there is a cloud of dust that comes out. But beyond that there are two issues. The major issue for me is the extreme amount of leaking this thing has. When I put in something to grind I want it to remain in the grinding cup, but whatever you are grinding inside of this spews everywhere inside of the thing, and makes a complete mess. Even when you are using one of the smaller grinders AND have the lid on it, stuff still manages to get out and get all over the place inside the thing. Its extremely annoying, and makes what should be a super simple task into a big clean up every single time if you want the device to be actually clean. The only way I can grind stuff without it getting all over is to cover the grinder with saran wrap and a rubber band so there is no way for anything to get out. But even that is not a good option because of what is my minor flaw number one. The first minor flaw is you cant just grind and be good to go if you want things finely ground. You have to open the grinder back up, get a chopstick or something and scrape whatever you are grinding out of the corners and bottom and manually mix things up and start grinding again. Stuff gets stuck below the blade and does not grind properly. This makes my fix for the major flaw so much more annoying, since I cant just grind, remove saran wrap and be done. I have to put on saran wrap, and remove it 4 or 5 times when I am grinding spices, due to this. The second minor flaw is that I should be able to use lids on both the short AND tall grinders, but the cover does not actually give enough room to run with the lid on top of the tall grinding cup.

This has been PERFECT for grinding flax seeds, chia seeds, and some other seeds. I use it every morning, and it has performed flawlessly. I LOVE being able to put the little grinding container and lid in the dishwasher after each use. After it is completely dry, I put it in the drawer, and use the other little container the next morning to make sure that there isn’t any retained moisture from the DW so that the seed powder stays dry. While there is some expected noise while grinding the seeds, I don’t find it excessively loud. The grinding process takes only a few seconds, so any noise is short lived. I’m so glad I chose to buy the Kitchen Aid grinder with the two accessory grinders. I would definitely recommend it!

Device does not come with a UK plug and power, instead some odd wall transformer and plug was included so whenever I want to use it I have to plug int multiple items that can all fail. The adaptor and transformer do not seem robust. This makes the device cumbersome to use. The fact that it does not come with a normal plug and power usage was not disclosed.
