Works for basic needs for the price you can't beat it

This gauge did everything it was suppose to do. In March, my “Service Engine” light came on for a 2022 Jeep with just 21K miles on it. My dealer would not run the diagnostic without an appointment. I made the appointment and by the time of the appointment, the service message was gone. The dealer told me there was nothing that needed to be done. The service message came back on a few weeks later. I purchased this gauge, took a picture of the code message, and went to a different dealer. The message disappeared again but I had the code and the new dealer told me that the service message was in storage on my vehicle. Apparently a critter was chewing on wiring to a cylinder. The new dealer fixed the issue and they are now my regular repair dealer.

The code was read accurately and the part indicated was physically defective (vacuum purge valve), but the unit would not erase the code after the repair. I went to the erase page and it asked if I was sure I wanted the code erased. The options were yes or no. There was no way with the buttons to highlight the "Yes" icon.Tried numerous times and no result so I returned it. The code never cleared, before or after engine start.
