Works as advertised. Highly recommend for anyone needing to convert 110v to the car plug adapter. Compact design makes storage and travel easily accomplished. Adapter quality is high quality. Unit does not make any noise when being used. I love mine.

I purchased this to use with my diesel parking heater most require a minimum of 10 amps and 12 volts to start and run. This has worked perfectly to start my heater and run it every morning. Ideally you should have a battery in line because a loss of power can flood your heater they have a shut down sequence that they follow where it burns off any remaining fuel in the motor. Failure to do that can make it difficult for it to start again and can shorten the life of your heater. Fortunately I am using mine in a shop and not for camping and power loss is not something I often encounter. So I'm not overly concerned about it. With the low cost of diesel heaters nowadays if it did actually break I would just replace it with another heater but I do plan at some point to add a battery but this has worked very well for me so far.

This product was a PERFECT and actually improved power supply for my Coleman brand 12 volt powered full size automotive cooler. I would travel 1300 miles and stop at night, taking the cooler inside the hotel room with me to plug it in and keep my food, including milk cold. It worked BETTER than the OEM one! Unlike the OEM one, this product did not get hot after even 12 hours of continuous use while drawing 7 amps of power out of it (the OEM one overheated a lot, and finally died). This product was a perfect replacement and saved me a lot of money vs buying the Coleman version. I would highly recommend it as it did not ever got hot while running at 75% or more of its rated output power. The other one that I had would get how, and I would place it on a tile floor to try to keep it cool. This unit was great

Took this on a 6 week camping trip... used 3 or 4 times and then the outer layer of the cable started to crack and power would shut off intermittently.... garbage and too late to return after getting home from the trip. Update 1/4/2026: the seller has offered me a full read fund upon reading my review above. I appreciate their attention to customer service to resolve the issue. I await the refund.

Could have bought a cheaper converter but spent more to get what I believed was a heavier duty unit that would easily handle my 12v tire inflator. When I plugged it in and turned the inflator on there was a weak electrical sound then silence. Not sure what happened but both inflator and this converter appear dead. It may only be the fuse in my converter, I’ll have to check, but no idea what’s up with this and I won’t chance plugging anything else into it. Very, very disappointed with this purchase. Returning.

There isn't too much excitement with an 110AC to 12V 10A DC converter. This did the trick for me. My original PSU for my Green Mountain grill died. This is a little different form factor from the GMG, with a female end but the GMG comes with what I will call a "travel kit" which is a female end with clamps to put on a battery and a long male to male cable to go from there to the smoker. This is what I'm using with this new unit. Works great. It's a bonus that the female end I can also power anything with a cig lighter end on it and 10A is plenty of wattage. I did dock it 1 star. The power cable going into the unit and the one coming out are on the shorter side. At least the C13 is replacable.

I use it to connect my travel cooler (with 12V DC) to the 110V outlet in my truck. Works fine. Looks solid

I needed a reliable power source to run my vehicle Cellular booster and the 12 volt Dremel style chainsaw chain sharpener. The other ones I have are not continuous. This one runs all my 12vdc equipment like my fridge perfectly.
