I never write reviews, I mean NEVER. But, I had to write about this brow pencil. First of all, the blond is actually blond, not orange, or grey, or green, like some of the other brow pencils I’ve gotten. I have golden blond hair, and it’s slightly darker than my hair, so it looks very natural. Secondly, it is definitely sweatproof, and it does stay on in water. If you rub your brows when they’re wet, like I accidentally did, it’ll rub off a little bit. But otherwise, it’s the most waterproof brow pencil I’ve tried. It lasts all day too, and it doesn’t fade. For the low price, it is definitely worth it.

This eyebrow pencil has staying power. I got the grey it's a little dark but it stays on . I had eyebrows when I got out of bed and the price is one of the great things.

This is an excellent brow pencil! And does it stay put??? It absolutely DOES!!! I have had to use brow pencils since I was young (I am 70), and I have never found one that actually stayed on!! I have found it now!!!! I highly recommend it!!

I've been using this brow pencil for a while now, and I'm honestly surprised by how good it is, especially considering the price. It applies smoothly and evenly. The formula is soft enough that you don't need to press hard or make multiple strokes to get color on your brows. It stays on well throughout the day without smudging or fading. No irritation at all, even on sensitive skin. The spoolie on the other end is useful for blending and shaping. Overall, a solid product that does exactly what it should. The color match on this brow pencil is honestly really good—it blends nicely and looks natural with my brows. The size of the stick is fair, and for the price, I think the value is decent overall. What I don’t love is how soft the pencil is. In hindsight, I probably should’ve expected that since it’s a mechanical pencil, but I didn’t really think about it before buying. Because it’s so soft, it’s hard to get a sharp, defined line. Instead of creating precise, hair-like strokes, it tends to give more of a smudged, filled-in brow look. If you prefer a softer, more blended brow, you might really like this. But if you’re like me and want a more defined, structured brow, this might not be the best fit.

I have always ordered the regular version of this- NON waterproof for years & years on end. This one is not in my opinion completely actually "waterproofed" but more very water resistant & despite extreme temperatures- stays put all day long. It didn't stay on in the pool. It works like a mechanical pencil & the other end has a spoolie. I have a quick routine & even if I had no budget I would still pick this pencil regardless. The dark brown looks great with very deep black dyed dark hair like i have.

This is such a nice and affordable eyebrow pencil. I made the mistake of applying it too hard because of a previous order, but realised it is better to apply lightly. Which means it will last much longer for me. It is almost gel like but stays on for a while -- unless you wipe it with an alcohol wipe, of course. Really nice eyebrow pencil. I am considering on ordering another one just in case it is no longer in production. I recommend brushing your eyebrows down and drawing a line at the top and brushing up and drawing a line at the bottom. Then fill it in and smudge it lightly with the brush to diffuse it a bit better.

De e.l.f. Instant Lift Waterproof Brow Pencil is prima! Hij brengt soepel aan en geeft goed kleur af. Ik heb donkerbruin, deze kleur is best donker maar kan toch bij mijn lichte haar. Mijn wenkbrauwen tonen gelift. De punt is niet te hard en met het borsteltje kun je na het aanbrengen je wenkbrauwen in shape borstelen. En het blijft prima zitten!

I absolutely love this pencil in Taupe. The color gives the most natural finish and works beautifully across a range of hair colors, from blonde to light and medium brown. It blends seamlessly and never looks overdone when applied with a light hand. The spoolie on the other end is genuinely useful. I use it to brush and shape the brows before and during application, which helps guide the hairs into place and creates a much more polished result. The creamy texture glides on smoothly with minimal effort and distributes evenly without any clumping. The pigment is rich enough to fill sparse areas but the key is not to press too hard, otherwise it is easy to overdo it. A light touch gives the most natural look. The staying power is impressive. Throughout the day the color holds up well even if you accidentally touch your brows. Only if you deliberately rub them will the color come off. My brows look the same in the evening as they did in the morning. I have gone through many of these pencils and the quality and price are consistently excellent. My only wish is that e.l.f. would release the same formula in a wooden pencil that you sharpen, since the retractable format tends to run out faster. That said, it will not stop me from repurchasing. Also worth mentioning, e.l.f. is vegan and cruelty-free, which is always a welcome bonus.
