Having had mystical experiences with Jesus when I was a little girl, I have always had a fascination with the Holy Family, but not as how portrayed in my typical Christian upbringing. I always knew in my heart that there was a lot missing. Well, Marguerite has parted the curtain using her research skills and unveiled for us "the rest of the story". Marguerite shares in this book both scholarly information with appropriate research notes as well as intuitive information that fills in the gaps (for me) and explains why I have always felt this way. Clearly, the image most of us grew up with with is a homogenized version of Mother Mary which never credited her with being such an advanced Priestess, having been prepared from early childhood by her own mother and other female family members. I also have learned why I have such a strong connection to the realms of fae and the Star Nations. Marguerite has skillfully woven this story and connected all the loose threads for me. Mother Mary surprisingly entered my life several years ago and I have been puzzling out what to make of it ever since. This book is a ground-breaking work on the nature of Mother Mary, her history and works. It has radically shifted my understanding of her and helped me to more fully embrace her as a spiritual guide. Through solid scholarship and research, Marguerite reveals how Mary mastered the realm of humanity to birth a World Avatar, and to ascend into the higher realms beyond this world through her lifetimes of spiritual work and devotion. I truly did not know what I was in for before reading this book, and am astounded and overjoyed to have shared in these revelations. Thank you, Marguerite, for this important work and for all that you do to aid humanity in raising our vibrations and consciousness.

This book is Divine! Dr. Rigoglisso takes us on a scholarly road trip from the Great Goddess Sophia, to Egypt, India and beyond to the land of unicorns and Faeries! I couldn’t put it down! The first two chapters reflect much of her own personal story which I found very relatable considering I attended Catholic primary schools. I can tell you I wasn’t buying the story of Mary and Jesus when I was a child. I knew I wasn’t getting the whole story. The author gives you much to consider through her scholarly research as well as the integration activities available at the end of each chapter which includes meditation questions and audio meditations on her website.. If Mother Mary isn’t in your current mediation practice this book will make you reconsider.

I REALLY wanted to love this book. I couldn't even get myself to like it or finish it! Three stars is generous, in my experience. It seems to be more about trying to convince readers to go to her website and buy into her program... seems a lot of ego show-off-y comes through. For me, it was a total waste of money. She makes a lot of statements she says are facts based on her erudite research, but only says to learn more we need to buy one of her other books or pay for her mentoring program. That's always a turn off for me. For me, this one missed the mark by not looking into a broader scope of quantum physics and cosmic connections, and staying way too firmly bound to a certain person from 2000 years ago and a particular feminine wisdom path from older than that. While that certainly has it's place, I think it was the way in which it comes across. It was the tone of the author more than anything that was so off-putting for me. The Way of the Rose by Clark Strand and Perdita Finn is a MUCH MUCH better written and soulful journey for me! That book was like a gentle song moving through my soul. In contrast, and in my experience, THIS book--Secret Life of Mother Mary--was more like a smack up side the head by a drill sergeant. Just wasn't for me. But you might like it.

The author synthesises information researched from a wide vaiety of sources, from medieval and ancient manuscripts to modern authors and her own intuitive knowings, and she carefully details each source, taking the reader through Mary’s background and her life and eventual death helping us to see Mary as a mentor who can help us to seek not perfection « but possibility, awakening to whom we already are. » At the end of each chapter there are useful prompts to aid journalling, and a guided meditation, so this book, whilst acadelmic in its approach, encourages the reader to get closer to the being we call Mother Mary and making her a real part of our lives.

Very interesting.

As someone who feels deeply connected to Mother Mary, this book has been such a gift. It has deepened my understanding of who she was/is and how she is always available to offer loving guidance, support, and healing on my path. There are so many books/teachings about Yeshua and even Mary Magdalene, now finally here is a book about the Queen of Heaven, illuminating her as perhaps the most holy person to ever walk the Earth. This book has enlightened and empowered me in ways I don't even yet perceive. I highly recommend it to anyone walking a spiritual path.

I love this book. I have never believed in mother Mary before but after reading her incredible experience and the amount of research the author did is phenomenal. Mary is a true goddess. The only annoying thing is the author keeps going on about her other books through out the book, like she's pushing you to buy it. Didn't appreciate that. So just ignore those parts. It's a empowering, enlightening and truely remarkable book. Highly recommended
