Excellent!!! These work for pretty much anything.
I learned about these in sculpture class. I was fortunate in that I watched others use it (I was doing something else - hahaha... it was another mushroom but with plaster of paris) and learned from what they did... and didn't. I used it for mushrooms I'm currently making. I cut the plaster strips into pieces of about 2" long, and cut a few square pieces. Dipped them in water and applied them to my mushrooms. You have to pat it, don't rub or you'll smear it everywhere. Just pat it and it blends the pieces together better. You can't use too much water, but you can use too little. Get that stuff wet! Make it work! It will go where you want it to. Then, give it plenty of time to dry. You can sand any rough edges that appear. Any tiny "holes" will be filled with primer. Bigger holes, you just add another piece of the tape (wet), pat it, then let it dry. Painting plaster is a trick sometimes. Using a primer is best for detail. If you want something a little more abstract, don't use primer and just let it do it's thing. (One gal in class colored hers with the juice of different vegetables!!!) You will want some sort of final sealer. I use a spray glaze paint. Depending on the project, a light coat is enough. But sometimes you want a thing to shine so spray away! If you use these like paper mache, you'll need to protect your original mold... including balloons. I use a really thin coat of Crisco... thanks to "The Help". You can also wrap things in plastic wrap. Get creative. Find your own way to make it work. This stuff is great. If you are going to use plaster of paris, it's nice to use this first because it helps the plaster stay in place and you can use a lot less. Enjoy! I am!!!

Easy to use and worked perfectly for a face cast
Worked perfectly and easy to use. My first attempt at making a mold of my face (which I then used to make a plaster cast) worked brilliantly. The inside was smooth and no sanding needed before using it to make the face cast. ๐ (Please do plenty of research to learn how to do it safely before trying it.)

Just like the stuff they had in art class
Exactly what you remember from art class. I made a mask with this and it was very easy to work with. It was of good quality.

Looks like what I ordered and works good.
Exactly what I ordered . Haven't gotten to use them a lot yet but seem to be what I will need them for later.

Worked great for the price
Worked as it should. I used it for a pokeball for halloween and it worked just as well as any other plaster cloths I have ever used. It was a very good value for money. Much cheaper then buying at a craft store and worked just as well.

Think strips
Relatively think strips, dissolve good when in contact with water.
