We have a well system and there's a lot of clay in th eground around us. I previously had justa. single whole house filter, which I would have to change weekly. This has made a world of difference, filtering out most of the gross clay befor ethe main filter. Even when it gets full, its super easy to empty out. Great product and brand. I will be upgrading to their whole house system next.

I have a water well and we use it for everything in our house. This filter is the first filter in the line of multiple filters. It's main function to stop anything bigger than 5 micron. Another words a grain of sand cannot pass this filter. And it delivers its promise. It gets dirty in a month and I take it out, brush the dirt off and use it again. naturally quality of the water passing thru effects the performance and life cycle so you need to make your own assessment. However, this filter will stop all the dirt and protect my other filters so they can perform their job. This is my second round of purchase and I will continue to do so.

I like the flush down and reusable features, problem is use of multiple filer levels is pain. Want to use step-d I wn pre-filter 200-100-50 but to do this takes 6 connections, and know way to test until entire unit is connected. I still only have 1 pre-filter but had to use the 200 based on amount of sand from well. Works great for that but gonna be pain to add others, and check for leaks. I did use rubber boot on front end just fir connecting one, and work good to ensure food connections but boot not a permanent coupling. If there were a 2 or 3 level preconnect would be great.

Just like the cartridge that came with my sediment filter. Great to have a few spares to swap out regularly.

The filter seems durable, it lasts long, is easy to install and to clean if necessary.I-Spring also has a superb customer services, a real person answers the phone with no wait time, I worked with John to get some advice on the water treatment system and he has been very helpful. The company seems very decent and I'll buy from them again.

I purchased this spin down filter for use with a well water system, which apparently I should have done years ago considering how much sediment I have been collecting. I had a concern regarding not having a back up filter on hand, when I contacted the company the young lady that answered my question and directed me as to what to do was so helpful. I cannot remember her name, try as I may to find my correspondence to give her credit for her great help.

Ok so purchased the Ispring sediment filter which contains this item. My water quality is not great & this seems to work a bit too well. In less than a month the filter get a lot buildup despite me flushing it every few days or so. I’d rather it get caught in the filter screen the in my household appliances. I bought an extra screen so I can just swap it out while I clean the clogged one. Rinse and repeat & makes things easier!

Great products @ ISpring! I use the FWSP50 Spin Down Sediment Filter, with a WGB21B 2-Stage Whole House Water Filtration System. I live on an acreage with extremely dirty water! High in Iron, Iron bacteria, manganese, undissolved solids, sediment, etc... I don't drink the water, but it is used for everything else. I replace more often than the recommended but works very well. Easy to install, doesn't take up a lot of room! Great customer service also!

Replacement filter. The original filter looks the same. Had the first one for 2 years should have been changed after one year. A great product
