Incredible reel for the value. Holds up well in saltwater conditions. Smooth reel and casts and drag. KastKing is my go to company for reels and some of their rods. Have bought several times now.

This reel is not just heavy but it's significantly larger than other 2500 class reels on the market. I like the reel otherwise though haven't given it a long term tryout. Would recommend selecting a size smaller than you think you want - say, buy a 2500 if you are really looking for a 3000. I wish they made a 2000 model.
