Would recommend for pex installs.
Really great product. Pex install went super fast with no leaks. They are sturdy. The material is brass and they have been installed 2 months now with no leaks. Cheaper buying here than at the local hardware store. Recommend to get deburring tool and the sharkbite pex cutters.

worked exactly as expected. easy to install but typical shark bite it was leaking at first till I re-seated everything. I use these in places where it's too tight to sweat pipes. its well built

Although expensive you are paying for ease and convenience if you don’t like soldering. 1/2” Pex tube slides in and locks. No leaks. This allows the everyday DIY Joe to complete plumbing work with ease.

If you have never used this brand, it is the tops, has the highest quality and best fit. Worked great connecting my PEX to copper and PVC.

Easy to install; read the instructions, though. Otherwise, you could cut it the wrong way. Works best with the deburring tool.
