I have been using this for two weeks now, following MOHS surgery in 5 areas including a “nose flap”, my cheek, neck and chest. I only say this to put you at ease when applying it to tender areas. This was rather drastic surgery with over fifty stitches plus, and this product is amazing! It’s easy to cut to the required shapes, is simple to apply to my numerous incisions with no difficulty, and easy to smooth out. I use it every evening before bedtime and leave it on all night. As per my surgeons instructions, I will be continuing to use this for three months in conjunction with a scar cream medication during the day. When i remove the tape in the morning, the tape is easy and painless to remove on five of my incisions.I’m sure that as I continue to heal over the next few weeks the slight discomfort, I am feeling will completely disappear! I can see that this tape is smoothing out my bumpy scars and my complexion is not as red as it originally was. Started using this scar tape a few days ago, four days after my stitches were removed. It’s too soon to tell if it’s actually helping the scar heal and fade but so far I’m pretty impressed! My incision is on my pinky finger so all I need is a 2 cm x 3 cm piece of tape. I am really impressed with how well it stays on and unlike cumbersome bandages, I totally forget it’s there. I like that it provides a little cushion if I bang my hand on something and considering it’s a tiny piece of tape, near a finger joint and with how frequently I wash my hands, I am very happy with my purchase.
