Truly good salt.
Good salt. However I believe Himalayan salt is better. I will use this salt & Himalayan salt & kosher salt. I like healthy salts. I believe these are the best. According to my research. I will continue buying all 3

Mixed feelings
This bamboo salt is really interesting. It’s salt but has a very slight earthy taste to it. I’ve used it in soups, casseroles, and for some meat seasonings, but you do also need a regular salt for things that you don’t want that earthy flavor like baked goods or certain flavor profiles. I wouldn’t say it adds anything crazy to the dishes it pairs well with, like it’s not some super ingredient that I would say is a must have for any dish. But I do like to use it when I feel it is a good match with whatever I’m cooking. Would I repurchase it? Honestly probably not because I don’t find it to be a must have product. But I will likely use it all so it’s not that I don’t like it.

Not what I thought it was but glad I got it!
Admittedly, I didn't read the product description well enough and I thought this was regular sea salt. I wasn't sure what to use it on and had trouble finding recipes that called for this so it took me awhile before trying it. It is very coarse so I wasn't sure about using it as a finishing salt because my husband isn't a huge fan of salt. So last night I used to to season our scallops a little before searing them and then I added just a little bit to the fried rice we had with them. I normally don't put salt in my fried rice but I read online to try it. Both dishes were amazing! I make my own fried rice seasoning and although I have always liked it I have to say that it was better with the sea salt. It was my first time making seared scallops so I can't say if it made them better than if I had used kosher but me and my husband both enjoyed it. Now I need to find more dishes that we can use this with because the flavor is amazing! I might even try to find a way to ground it down some more so I can use it as a finishing salt.
