WORKS PERFECT, 5K miles in so far.
OK, so I had the "known" problem with the diff on my 2018 CTS. Needed a new one and the dealer is back ordered with NO ETA. So, I decided to try this out even though I was skeptical about an aftermarket diff that was a fraction of the cost of a GM part. Well, I.ve driven over 5K with this diff and it has been perfect! It has been wisper quiet, the gear ratio (2.85) is a match so the fuel economy is the same (excellent). I decided this afternoon to change the fluid in it just to check and get the break-in oil out of it and put fresh oil in. The fluid looked fine and just a little very fine particles on the magnet from break in, which is normal. Definitely a great substitute for the factory unit and you save $2300 !! If you Cadillac is down and waiting for a factory differential to come in, I'd scrap that idea and get one of these units. I'm very happy so far and anyway, if you get another factory unit you'll be in the same boat 60K miles from now.
