This muddler has been so useful from the start! I use it from everything to muddling fruit for drinks to making guacamole. Mashing and smashing has never been easier, and I wish I would have got the sooner especially for making guacamole because smashing those freaking avocados with a fork is a pain in the butt. I'll definitely be recommending everyone have a muddler in their own kitchen, and this one is good quality and affordable. It is easy to clean, does its job, and fits easily with my other utensils.

I grabbed this tifanso set mainly because my old wooden muddler was starting to smell weird and look gross. The steel muddler actually turned out to be incredibly solid with a really nice weight to it. The plastic head does a great job crushing mint and limes for my mojitos without scratching up my glasses. It is just way cleaner than using wood since it washes off instantly under the sink. The problem is that the mixing spoon they include feels like a totally useless afterthought. The twisted handle is fine for stirring ice, but the actual spoon part is basically completely flat. You really cannot use it to measure out syrup or scoop anything out of a jar. The little fork on the other end is also super thick, so it just ends up mashing my cherries instead of actually spearing them. I would only buy this if you just want a really good muddler and do not care about the accessories. It works totally fine if you just need a metal stick to stir your drinks together. You should absolutely buy something else if you actually want a real bar spoon for measuring and picking up fruit. It is a decent cheap upgrade for the house, but the spoon is definitely a letdown.
