This gum is fantastic. Omg the flavor is close to juicy fruit. The flavor lasts a good amount of time. Clean ingredients and the texture is so smooth. I don’t eat sugar so these are my go to sugar free product. Great price!

I don’t think you could find better tasting sugar free mints. I love that the ingredients are simple. The size is great, the texture is perfect and the taste is absolutely delicious. I think they are worth the price, especially if you’re not a fan of aspartame. Love love love these.

For context, I'm a big fan of altoids and icebreakers - I like an intense mint. I got these mainly because I'm looking for something that would help with occasional dry mouth and stimulate saliva production. The taste is very pleasant, but mild. Recognizable tangerine/citrus flavor, with a lot less of the citric-acid 'sour' that I'm accustomed to. I'd compare it to a tic-tac flavor-wise. I like it as an option, but will probably stick to stronger flavored mints in the future, as in addition to general mild flavor, I don't feel it does much as an actual -mint- in terms of augmenting or adding breath freshness. Eg, if I was dealing with coffee breath at work, I can generally trust that drinking and swishing some water for a bit and then having strong mint will help; these taste nice, but I wouldn't depend on them for helping me out in such a situation. In regards to mouth feel and texture, the mints are smooth and rigid with a hard 'tablet' surface, 0 chew or softness. I'd compare it to a lifesaver mint in terms of texture only; oddly I find that it's easier for me to keep these whole until they're gone, but when chewed the texture is again similar to a lifesaver (not chalky). Even so, they dissolve quickly when being actively sucked on - which may be part of why they stay in one piece until the end, I don't have them in-mouth long enough to be tempted to bite down. I don't see purchasing these again - maybe if they were a dollar or two cheaper, but overall for the value it just wasn't what I was looking for. They're a pleasant, mild, sweet, citrus 'mint', but don't do much for me in terms of augmenting or adding breath freshness, don't last very long, and once it's gone/swallowed, there's no real lingering taste or freshness either. They don't do much for me in terms of dry-mouth, at least not more than sucking on any other hard candy. I can see these being good for someone looking for a low/no-sugar way to satisfy the craving for similar products, but as I don't have a health or dietary reason to seek that out, I'll probably stick to other brands going forward.

Nice little tins of sugar free mints our grandkids and big kids like. This was a good stock up price so we have them on hand for holidays and regular visits. The individual mint tins are sealed. We all like the orange tangerine flavor best.

I order this pack every couple of months. If you have dry mouth like issues, these really help. If you don't, they taste great and are sugar free, so less guilt,

We've bought the other container several times but these taste terrible in the metal packaging. Like something is wrong with them..my kids won't eat them and we'll be throwing them out. Buy the other packaging.

Very tasty mints

This is a great mint and was recommended as I have dry mouth and was recommended use products with Xylitol.

I have previously used PUR chewing gum, so I was pleased to try the Tangerine Tango breath mints from the same brand. One of the main reasons I originally chose PUR was because its products are aspartame free, and these mints follow the same approach. They are sweetened with xylitol instead, which makes them a good option for anyone specifically trying to avoid aspartame while still wanting something sugar free. The tangerine flavour is what makes these different from the usual peppermint or spearmint varieties. They have a bright citrus taste with a noticeable tang, followed by a cooler freshness as the mint slowly dissolves. I found the flavour pleasant and refreshing without being overwhelmingly sharp. It does taste more like a fruity sweet at first than a traditional breath mint, but it still leaves the mouth feeling cleaner afterwards. They are also useful when I want something small after a meal or when my mouth feels dry. The mints are quite firm and last reasonably well when allowed to dissolve rather than being crunched straight away. One is enough at a time, as they are a decent size and the flavour develops gradually. There are 65 pieces in the pack, so it should last me a good amount of time. As with most products containing xylitol, it is sensible not to consume too many at once (otherwise you may find yourself stuck in the loo!). The resealable pouch is practical and closes securely, helping to keep the mints fresh and protected. It is compact enough to keep in a handbag, desk drawer or car without taking up much room. Overall, these are a refreshing alternative to standard mint flavours and a good continuation of what I already liked about the PUR brand.
