Awesome product
This product helped my chickens a lot. But I couldn't get it to too dissolve. In the hot water cold water so I had to smash it up and use it that way. I made sure it was cold water. When I gave it to my chickens.. The product was awesome, though.

Hard to say but worth a try
My chickens have had worms in the past that I treated with medicine so they are currently worm free. However, For maintenance I don't like the idea of giving them a medicine, so I wanted to give this a try. Since I am using this to prevent worms, all I can say is so far the don't have worms but is it this product or not, that I can't say for sure. I am inclined to believe that this may well help prevent chickens from getting worms but also that if they have worms this likely won't get rid of them unless it is very early and even then I have my doubts. As far as giving it to chickens, I have 7 hens and so for me to give them medicine individually really isn't a big deal. I can't imagine(and other reviews seem to confirm this) that trying to dissolve the tablets in water to let them drink it probably isn't going to work or be very effective. I also don't like that method in general due to some chickens drinking more and others less. This also becomes an issue if you crush up a tablet and mix with food for them all to eat because you don't know if each chicken gets enough. So the easiest method if you have a small flock like I do is to just shove a tablet down each chickens gullet and be done. Personally, I don't like the idea of shoving a pill down my chickens throat, so I do not do it that way, however if I had no other option and couldn't get them to take something life saving any other way then I would. The way I get my chickens to take medicine/supplement/etc is pretty simple but a little more time consuming than just popping it down their throat. First off, as a treat every once in a while I will give each of them a little wet feed which they love, so any time they see me coming with some soggy pellets in my hand they all come running. This is very helpful because when a chicken really wants to eat what you have in your hand that makes it much easier than chasing them around trying to show them what you have isn't scary or dangerous. So for this I usually crush up a tablet into essentially a powder(using a hammer), I then get a little bit of their feed and get it nice and wet so that it crumbles and spread it out in my hand. Then I rake the powder onto the wet food that is spread out. Once covered with the powder I pile the food up so that the powder is somewhat mixed up and in the middle. Every chicken has gobbled it down without issue for the most part. One chicken I left some chunks of the tablet and she didn't want to eat the chunks but the powder didn't bother her, however I had another chicken that actually ate the chunks of the tablet pieces in preference to the wet food which was surprising. This has been my method with giving Vitamin E supplement(poke a hole in the capsule and squeeze it out on wet food) as well as equimax for worming chickens(however you have to hide that really well because they do not like the taste and will eat it much more cautiously). UPDATE: My chickens still haven't gotten worms again, but I am about to the time of year they got them last year, so I just gave them a dose of this, so I will see if they get any. I did use the same technique of crushing the tablet and putting in some wet food and I made sure it was good an crushed up and all seven of my chickens gobbled it down without hesitation or suspicion that I was poisoning them. UPDATE#2: Made it through the time when they got worms last year and they still haven't gotten worms again. Recently one of my chickens required me to give her medicine by shoving a capsule down her throat, and after doing it and getting comfortable with it, it is much more efficient. So I gave this to them all by shoving it down their throats and it was very quick and way easier than I expected. As a matter of fact the ones I thought would let me do it no problem fought back a little, and the ones that I thought would squirm and fight it, just sat there and let me give it to them. If you watch a video it really isn't hard to do, I just "sit" gently on top of them, grab around their head and open their beak with a finger(all with the left hand), then drop the pill in their mouth and use my right pinky to push it down. I would still be nervous about giving liquid because I am afraid of it going down the trachea into the lungs and drowning them, but pills can only fit down the esophagus(unless they are really tiny which these aren't) so you just pop it on down and they just jump up and go about their day.

Appears to be working
but for what you get- It's expensive. It says you can dissolve the tables in water....not hardly, not even using nice really hot 150º water after one hour.......or you can feed one to a chicken one at a time.....and lose your mind if you have 150 chickens......They should have this available as a loose product in a 5 lb bag for small farmers that WILL actually mix with water. The first time I fought with trying to dissolve the pills. the 2nd time I ended up having to grind the pills in a spice grinder, mix with hot water, then added cold water in a 2.5 gallon jug. I need to find a similar product that WILL dissolve in water and in enough quantity to water the birds without the hassle for a reasonable price. The concept is good and appears to be working, but it isn't employed well. Medicating chickens in their water is always the easiest way to go if you can.
