Works good - clamps aren't good though
This flex duct works good. Easy to install. The outer aluminum wrap is thin but doesn't rip easily. It's easy to cut using a razer. The insulation is decent. The clamps are no good though. The quality of the clamps is fine, but the screw takes a lot of effort to move. I ended up using large plastic zip ties instead of the clamps. Overall I'm happy with this purchase. Packaging was very good.

A good product, but a pain to thread through the ceiling
So whoever built my house decided to install a bathroom fan with no vent to the outside. Naturally, I had to correct this but that involved threading this duct through a pre-existing ceiling - 15 feet then a left hand turn then 15 more feet to the outside. This product made the journey. It's a sturdy duct. It got dragged over rebar, no problem. It handled being tied to a dryer brush, no problem. The outside never tore. The metal rings never got bent out of shape. It's so sturdy that it was kind of a problem, since it could NOT squish its way past pipes and wires. It also stops dead if it hits the pointy part of a screw. It doesn't rip, it just get caught then refuses to move. Because of this, I ended up having to open the ceiling in one spot to get it around a big pipe and two exposed screws. For anyone looking to do a similar project, I recommend using the smallest duct possible (I bought 4inch but I really wish I had bought 3inch). I'd also reconsider using an insulated duct, as the insulation adds two inches to the width of the duct and it doesn't squish down as much as you'd hope it would. And use the dryer-vent brush strategy for getting it through your ceiling. First, thread a long dryer-vent brush through the ceiling, then tie the brush end to the duct, then pull the other end of the brush - thus dragging the duct into the ceiling. But I'm glad I bought what I did. In the end, there is surprisingly strong airflow through the duct (I bought two and connected them to go the distance), and I credit the insulation with tamping down noise from the bathroom.

Simple if you know what you’re doing.
I recently purchased a home. After being in it for a year or so we’ve come to notice it was a flipped house. One thing we noticed is our upstairs was not cooling right in 2 of the bedrooms. Checked the vent and no pressure. Followed the hvac lines and someone thought it was a great idea to split a 6in into 2 rooms. Ran another line to the box with this flex duct and better flow, cooler rooms, happier hvac.

Easy installation.
The fit was tight for a 6" take-off but I'd rather it be tight than too loose. I loved that it came with hose clamps for each end... it made securing the duct work much easier. The insulation and casing was in great shape. Definitely worth the buy.

Quality at a value
Surprisingly good. The actual duct is thick and poly like. Does not tear easily. Fits well. Comes with clamps.

Fits the bill, with one flaw that's almost to big to overlook.
I have bought several rolls of the major name brand of this, at my local lowes So I know what im working with. When I went to install this duct I found the inner duct to be easily torn, even with light pressure. I had to use kid gloves and even then I had to tape a couple tears. The insulation inside seemed to be on par with the big brand, the outer shell is a little weak as well, but thats much less of a problem.

Inexpensive way to fix expansion noises in attick area without sufficient roof ventilation.
We used this for sending cooler air to the south side of the attic in my home since there was expansion clicking during hot weather. We used a 200 mm computer fan (uses 5 watts) and small brackets to attach the fan to one end, and brought the other end of the 25' duct to within 8 feet of the south roof in the attic. The fan was placed to intake air from the garage ceiling pull-down stair step assembly, which is kept open 4" to allow cooler garage air to be transported to the overheating south side of the attic. Of course roof vents could have been installed, but I did not want to disturb the 5 year old shingles. The durability, and weight was great to pull it through to the far end of the attic, and the length was perfect. This was very easy to do. Of course, the best part is; IT WORKED to cut out most of the expansion clicks, and the rare clicks that do happen are fairly quiet. Also I ran soaker hoses around the foundation which a clay soil really needs.

Good insulated duct.
It came compressed in a box and with some large hose clamps. Quality is pretty good. I had no issues installing the product. Sturdy and insulates nicely. 10/10 may buy again.

Good product at a great price.
Product has now been installed for my HVAC Therompump system in my attic. The quality of these with an R rating of 6 exceeds my previous flexible conduits.
