Everything on the outside appears identical to the original, and it installed perfectly, well, almost perfectly. There was a minor difference on the inlet tube for the fuel supply, the fuel tube is smaller than the original. The original carb fuel tube was curved and about 2 inches long. This one stubs straight out - so I had to find a fuel hose with an inside diameter that was something smaller, yet still would stretch over the tube on the the fuel petcock. I'm sure there are adapters out there, but it worked. After years of problems with my old original carburetor, this new carb started right up. The only adjustment I had to make was with the idle. It runs beautifully, great acceleration under load, and a perfect idle. I'm thrilled to have this bike running like new again, especially with how difficult it is to find parts.
