The product was sturdy and heavy, however the hooks to hook over my blinds were not wide enough to hook on so couldn't use.

Like other users I found the section at the top too slim to go over the top of the blind, even when unrolled. A waste of money. They went in the bin. A much better product is the sheet you stick straight on. Easy to apply/remove, no residue and no light seepage.

They work for the main part. I had to attach a bit of sticky velcro to really seal every last sliver of light out. Weights are useful, but makes them heavier if travelling...

A powerful product if you hate light getting in!I bought this thinking it would be rubbish but very effective. Does hold the blinds back and hooks over the top well. Annoyingly, our pulley on the right hand side stops that side being completely flush with the wall, but works well other than that. Easy to assemble, plenty of thick high-quality material used and would therefore be suitable for most windows.Suction power, which Amazon wants me to score, is not appropriate. It simply hooks over and so doesn’t need to use suction.A great product!

Admire the design but doesn’t work with 1.8m high windows - the hook can’t fit around a thick rolled up blind

I already have blackout blinds and blackout curtains in my daughters room but light still streams through the sides. These are a game changer! They attach to the curtain rods by a hook which is slightly pliable so you fit it to fit the gap in the best way to block the light. Then there’s a weight at the bottom which move as you adjust it to the right length and voila! I can still open the blinds and curtains come day time....which you can’t do with the suction cup travel blackout blinds without lots of faff...I found they fell down anyway. Seriously this is so good! It would have been nice to have a white finish so it’s not so noticeable but that’s a small thing.

This item does not work if you have blinds or curtains that sit within the window recess.
