Gardirect Steel Tray Bird Feeder, 2 Packs (Red and Yellow)

These are simply the best designed bird feeders I've ever purchased. Not only are the clean, modern, sculptural shapes exceptionally pleasing to the eye, the lack of sharp edges, tabs, and folds means there is no way the birds can be injured (or worse) as is sadly all to possible with a poorly designed or haphazardly assembled feeder.* Bottom pan has three small drainage holes* So simple to assemble it does not even require instructions* Golden Yellow and Bright Red look amazing with summer flowers and will add a much needed dose of color during the bleaker months* As seeds are poured or scooped directly into the bottom pan there is no chance of clogged ports or tubes preventing the birds from feeding* Open design makes it easy to see all the birds feeding with no large center hopper or tube to cloud up and block your view* Two feeders with easy access for several birds at once deter aggressive behavior as there is plenty of room for everyone* Perfect for smaller birds like wrens, sparrows, barn finch, up to full-size Cardinals* Some pigeons are able to land but most can't quite figure it out which is good as it keeps most of the larger, bullying birds out of the seed* With the right placement (mine are on a 72" shepherd's hook) the feeders are completely squirrel-proof as wellMy only minor issue is I had a little trouble getting all the parts to line up exactly, so the when you view the feeders from the side, the top and bottom pan are just a tiny bit further apart at one point then ever so slightly further apart at the opposite side. This in no way effects the functionality or solidness of the assembled units, its just a small issue I notice as I am a bit OCD.I liked this design so much I bought two sets.

Love the colors, size, and cost! They are sturdy and drain well. Assembly was pretty easy because I looked closely at the online photos and they're easy enough to clean. They are such a joy to view out my windows! My little birds and Cardinals use them all day long. Occasionally I will occasionally see a dove in one, but Blue Jays have not yet figured out how to land on them. Of my six feeders, these are my favorites!1/18/2019 Updatein the process of cleaning my feeder I accidentally messed up the finish. I contacted guard direct to ask if they had any suggestions on fixing it. Not only did they respond quickly, but they sent me a new feeder. My backyard birds and I couldn't be more pleased!

Squirrels can jump right into the feeder from the ground. They look nice though.

Wow. Wish I had seen these before I bought my 2 most recent bird feeders, including a supposedly " squirrel proof" one. I don't like super expensive feeders because they tend to be HUGE and I don't put out that much feed at one time, and birds often like the cheap ones shaped like these but they break easily and don't last. These seem to be just what birds ( especially cardinals) want --a wide tray --with coverage and drainage. I just put them out but will bet they will be a big hit versus the last 2 I bought --including the squirrel proof one that birds didn't care much for either. I also LOVE the fact that they come in COLORS OTHER THAN GREEN!! Makes them easy to see from inside through our trees!.

These are great feeders. The birds are attracted to the colors, they keep the seed dry, and all birds (even crows) can fit into them to eat. Depending on whether or not you want squirrels around, they LOVE these feeders. They leap from the trees right into these and chow down. I personally feed my squirrels, so it doesn't bother me, but if you want a squirrel proof feeder this may not be your best option. Anyway, I love these and will certainly re-order if ever needed. They have held up great, between the Nor Easter winds, torrential rain, snow, and squirrels, I'd say these are pretty tough :)

These bird feeders are larger than they appear in the picture and they are quite sturdy. Be careful in assembly, however, as they don’t come with instructions. Make sure you have a picture handy so you don’t make a mistake as there are several ways they could fit together, but only one way that is intended for proper use. The birds love them, by the way. We’ve had birds as large as fully-grown doves and cardinals perching in these dishes... and it’s only day 2... in the winter!!

One of my favorite feeder. The small birds love these, they sit and eat also they get a chance to get out of the weather(snow, rain). Very well made, metal is thick and not flimsy. Hope they bring back, I have purchased two times and was going to purchase a third time but not in stock. I have these placed all over my yard. Hope they bring back.

The feeders are bright and cheerful. They are very easy to assemble and most important to me they are so easy to clean. I have to fill them more often because of the number of birds. They accommodate all sizes up to the blue jays. The seeds will get wet in the rain, but so do my closed feeders. I am very happy with them.
