Read the manual - nothing useful, motor running but nothing else. I then noticed that in the accessory pack there was a knob and two nuts that seemed likely to fit a recess in the back of the machine. not mentioned in the manual. I turned the machine upside down and it was clear that one of the nuts was for the inside of this hole and one was to lock against it on the outside. Installed this a tightened the knob against the motor - still nothing. I then removed the honing leather wheel and under it was a screw which I removed. Finally the motor would now swing to engage with the shaft and the knob could be adjusted to set a sensible pressure. NONE OF THIS IS MENTIONED IN THE MANUAL OR ON THE BOX!!!
