This is a definite must buy for any In Flames fan. In Flames is not only the best band out there(with one exception-Pantera) but also the best sounding live band out there. Sadly, the Tokyo Showdown did not prove this fact to be true. I had the opportunity to see In Flames with Moonspell in 1999 and I was absolutely amazed at how crisp and perfect they sounded. Out of all the live shows I've seen(Metallica, Zombie, Fear Factory, etc) In Flames' sound was the clearest, though Fear Factory was hard to beat. This DvD helps to establish In Flames' live talent to those who have never got the chance to see them. The songlist for this DvD hits on some of their best songs covering all their albums but with the main emphasis being on Soundtrack to Your Escape. In Flames even performs an excellent live version of the epic masterpiece Moonshield from the album The Jester Race. Not only are there two seperate live shows featured on this DvD but it also includes several videos for songs like, The Quiet Place, Touch of Red, and the unforgettable song My Sweet Shadow. This DvD also includes such legendary songs as Behind Space, Jotun, Only For The Weak, Colony, System, and my personal favorite Trigger(which is truly amazing live). If you are a fan of In Flames I strongly suggest you buy the Special Edition version of this DvD as it also includes 2 CDs which have both the Hammersmith, and Sticky Fingers sets on them. In Flames is one of the greatest bands to ever exist and they just keep getting better and better from album to album. With the release of their new album Come Clarity, which is a must own as well, they have cemented themselves among the elite greats of heavy metal. In this day and age after the destruction of Pantera and the tragedy of Dimebag's passing there is not a single band out there that can compare to In Flames. They are truly second to none. If you haven't had the oppourtunity to see In Flames live this is the closest to a live concert as you're going to get. The performance is electric, the songs and sounds are incredible, the bonus features and videos are unforgettable. Ok, I understand that In Flames fan's taste vary on each album. Even though, I never REALLY got into Soundtrack, I still know how talented they are, and the songs aren't bad, but I like In Flames for their melodeath style material and the fusion before that album. I'm a big fan of everything up to Reroute, I skip Soundtrack due to personal taste, and then the newest album, Come Clarity? A breath of fresh air... Awesome... If u didn't give it a try because of Soundtrack, don't make that mistake! They did great on Come Clarity, it's beautifully brutal. But anyways, the point I'm getting to, is YES, they do the whole Soundtrack album on this, and NO, they did not forget about us die hards for the old material. The first concert is a big set list of songs from all albums, I about died when they covered f*'n hostile in memory of Dimebag, it was awesome. But the second concert has 2 sets, set 1 consists of the entire soundtrack album. Set 2? Is the pot of gold!!! It's a full set of the best songs from each older album, maybe 1-2 songs off of Reroute, but the rest is all the classics. I'm in love with this dvd. Not to mention the sound quality is amazing, the camera angles are great and their performance is stellar! I've seen them live the first time I heard them when they toured with Slayer and Soulfly like 5 years ago right when Reroute came out. They were my fav. ones there, they had energy, adrenaline, and atmosphere... And all that's on here too... Any In Flames fan should own this, fans of new material or old are getting their money's worth. The old songs sound SOOO good with the perfect sound quality. The version of moonshield on this dvd gives me chills everytime I listen to it. Don't pass this one up, BUY IT IN FLAMES FANS!!!

In flames is so good. I enjoyed every aspect of this DVD. The interviews are great, the Hammersmith show is out of this world, sticky fingers is great as well. This band plays like a machine live. The guy that gave a bad review for expecting the unexpected odviously is not a musician. These are true pro's and they play like it. I dare you try to improve with such fine tuned music. These guys have honed there craft into something perfect and I could not imagine them ever really wanting to change that. Why would someone change what is already perfect. Every thing in this DVD is great. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!! Swedish metal is the best and In flames are the front runners in the game. Soilwork needs to put out a DVD as well, they are my favorite band of all time.......

This band is just so amazing I don't know where to start. I have all of their cds, and would like to clear up right now that, even though a lot of you have mixed feelings on theri "newer stuff", i think everything they touch is gold. This is never more aparent then on this DVD. The first live show start's off with one of my fav In Flames fares "Pinball Map" and crunches through some incredibly heavy stuff including a cover of Pantera's "F*cking Hostile" and continues before ending with "My Sweet Shadow" which is off the unpopular STYE album but sends shivers up my spine whenever I hear it. And that's just the first live performance. The second is broken up into 2 sets the first is STYE in its entirity live and the other is older fan favs...BUY THIS DVD IF YOU CALL YOURSELF AN IN FLAMES FAN. "I found a flame in burnt out ashes."
