The taste is good, the texture is nice. Its been worth the money for a year for me and it's been helping me lose weight and get through my fast.

It's too thick 😩 but it taste great. I like the ones that has a consistency like applesauce

I know elderberry isn’t exactly known for tasting amazing, and I’ve used it before, so I have a general idea of what to expect. What I received, doesn’t seem normal at all. The consistency is much thicker than I expected—almost like a gel. The color also concerns me. I was expecting a deep purple, like I have seen in others reviews, but this looks more like a dull, greenish color. On top of that, the taste is absolutely putrid, far beyond the normal tart or earthy flavor of elderberry. What really worried me was when I first opened the jar. Around the inside of the lid there was a very dark, almost black substance that honestly made me wonder if it was starting to mold. I cleaned the lid and tasted a small amount anyway, but now I’m uncomfortable using it because I’m genuinely concerned it may not be safe. Can someone please tell me if this is normal? If not, I’d appreciate a replacement or a refund. I don’t feel comfortable consuming it, and I also don’t think I should have to pay to ship back a product that appears to be defective or potentially spoiled. As of right now, value in the negatives, texture is gel like, energy unknown, effectiveness unknown as I can’t use it! I’d really appreciate your help resolving this. Thank you.
