Very simple and effective way to sharpen knives
I’ve seend ads for a similar product in the past and it always made me curious. Finally pulled the trigger and got one and I must say I am fairly impressed. It is super simple to use and the magnet is fairly strong and will hold on to the knife firmly. The grinder works well to sharpen the knife, you can actually start seeing the shaved off metal, which will gather along the blade in some spots that get magnetized from all the friction. I’ve tried a few different knives and it worked well on anything that is not too small. Please keep in mind that it does take some time to sharpen the knife, you need to work at it for several minutes per side. And do not forget the honing. The roller works very well though so you do not to exert much force at all. My knives are all very sharp now and this was well worth the money.

So easy!
Comes in a very attractive package and feels very well made with some heft even though compact.Quickly creates a perfect bevel on my knives with the diamond side and sharpens with the ceramic side. Works a bit better on flatter knifes, whereas and large knife with a curve may not get the same sharpness on the tip. However for the amount of time is saves, and it’s ability to give a knife the correct angle, I’d say it’s well worth it. I still want to get better at sharpening by hand on a stone, but this is great for quick touchups.

Works great for medium large knifes
Works great on chefs knife but anything larger or smaller is a bit hard to work with. It will not sharpen a pairing knife or boning knife or a cleaver easily

Excellent sharpening tool
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Way better than the sharpeners you pull the knife through. I have a sharpening stone but this is so steady and co sistent with angle. Highly recommend. If the blade is too tall, use a book or something to raise the angle block.Works well:The roller cylinder swivels so you can keep your hand in the same position as you move it back and forth.

So its not a Tumbler...Who cares? 3/4 of the Price!
Okay, here's a review of the AIERLIAN Rolling Knife Sharpener Kit with Diamond, covering both potential pros and cons:Review: AIERLIAN Rolling Knife Sharpener Kit - A Promising but Potentially Fussy ApproachThe AIERLIAN Rolling Knife Sharpener Kit takes a unique approach to knife sharpening, utilizing a rolling mechanism and diamond abrasives. This kit aims to provide a more consistent and controlled sharpening experience compared to freehand methods. While it shows promise, it also comes with some caveats. What I Liked:Controlled Sharpening Angle: The core appeal of this kit is its ability to maintain a consistent sharpening angle. The rolling guide, combined with the adjustable height settings, helps users achieve a more uniform bevel than they might be able to do freehand. This is a boon for those struggling with inconsistent angles using traditional stones.Good Variety of Abrasives: The diamond sharpening stones included offer a good range of grits, allowing for effective edge repairs, sharpening, and honing. The diamond abrasives cut quickly and efficiently, making the process relatively fast. This includes a coarse diamond for repairing damaged edges and fine diamond for putting a razor-sharp edge.Potentially Easy to Learn: While it takes practice to master the technique, the rolling motion is arguably more intuitive for some than the traditional push-and-pull method on whetstones. The guide rails help steer the sharpener along the blade.Compact and Portable: The kit is relatively small and easy to store, making it convenient for small kitchens or for those who need to sharpen their knives on the go.Sturdy Construction: The main body and guide rails feel well-built, suggesting the tool can withstand regular use. What I Didn't Like:Learning Curve is Present: While arguably easier than freehand, it takes time and experimentation to master the correct pressure, speed, and motion with this rolling system. It's not a "plug-and-play" solution and requires patience.Potentially Awkward on Larger Knives: Some users might find it challenging to maneuver larger knives on this setup. The space for the knife to roll is limited, and longer blades can be cumbersome to manage.Diamond Abrasives Can Feel Aggressive: While the diamond abrasives are efficient, they can also be aggressive. Beginners may accidentally remove too much material if they aren't careful with their pressure and strokes.Price Point: The AIERLIAN kit might be more expensive than basic sharpening steels or single-grit stones, which may be a barrier for some.Maintenance: Keeping the wheels and diamond stones clean is crucial for optimal performance. This requires some extra effort.Overall:The AIERLIAN Rolling Knife Sharpener Kit is a decent option for individuals looking to achieve consistent sharpening angles and a sharper edge. Its main strengths are the controlled rolling motion and efficient diamond abrasives. However, users should be prepared for a learning curve and be mindful of the potential for over-sharpening. It may not be the best fit for very large knives or for those seeking the simplicity of traditional sharpening tools.Who is this for?Suitable for: Those who struggle with maintaining angles when freehand sharpening.Potentially suitable for: Enthusiast home cooks interested in a slightly more advanced sharpening system. Not ideal for: Professional chefs who rely on traditional methods or those with large knife collections.Recommendation:If you are willing to invest the time to learn the technique and appreciate the controlled angle this sharpener provides, the AIERLIAN Rolling Knife Sharpener Kit can be a worthwhile purchase. However, weigh its cost and learning curve against the benefits before making a decision. Consider your knife collection and skill level before committing to this specific sharpening method.Rating:3.5 out of 5 stars. It's a good concept with good execution, but the learning curve and limitations prevent it from being perfect for everyone.

Works great and looks amazing on the counter.
I was genuinely impressed by the Aierlian Knife Sharpener Tool. The design is sleek and modern, and the wooden finish gives it a high-end feel that looks great in my kitchen. It’s compact but very effective. What really stood out to me is the rolling sharpening mechanism and the 15° & 20° magnetic angle guides—they make it extremely easy to get a precise, consistent edge every time. I’ve tried it on several knives of varying hardness, and the diamond and ceramic sharpening system handled them all effortlessly.

My knifes is sharp now.
I kept seeing the ads but never dared to try it. I’m really surprised at how convenient it is and how well it actually sharpens the knife. Usually, they offer a whole bunch of different stones — first one, then another, and finally a third. But here, it’s just one stone and a ceramic finish with great quality and comfortable. There is one downside — it’s not very convenient for sharpening small knives.
