Wrist Fracture Splint, Wrist Brace for Fractures, Sprains, Pain & Swelling

I fractured my wrist on Friday the 13th. Dr. at urgent care splinted and wrapped it. Didn't seem like that was quite enough support so I purchased this and have been wearing now for about 3 weeks. I read the reviews and there are those who were unhappy with the velcro. I have had no issues, it is supportive and the velcro is not an issue. Just had a second set of x-rays and bone is healing well so it absolutely does what its supposed to do. The price was great,its far more comfortable than the initial splint, easy to get on and off making it for me a great purchase 👍

This wrist brace provides excellent support and really helps reduce pain and discomfort. It’s comfortable to wear, adjustable, and easy to put on. The quality is great, and it fits well without feeling too tight. Highly recommended

I bought this because my soft splint with metal stays was good but not firm enough to keep my wrist from bending some and causing pain. This one is much better and keeps my hand and wrist in place eliminating almost all of the pain even when I am very active. Much like a removable cast and it is removable for bathing and washing up. It is also lightweight, strong and very comfortable. The padding keeps the plastic off your skin adding to the comfort. I had my first visit with an orthopedic hand surgeon today and he asked about this splint/cast. He said it is very good and recommended I keep wearing it for another month. I highly recommend this product.

The brace works as designed to keep the wrist from moving too much. The Velcro used to close the straps are very strong and long enough to keep the straps secure. The straps themselves are long enough to fit anybody’s hand. You can move the Velcro around to fit your needs. I knocked off one star because where the Velcro attaches to the hard brace part is very small and keeps becoming undone. I wish that part had larger pieces of Velcro to make it more secure. Since the Velcro used is double sided hook only, it is impossible to find more on the Internet in order to make that piece bigger.

My wrist is broken. The splint is well made, durable & price appropriate. IF the brace encompassed the thumb -for better wrist protection it would be 5star. Still helpful while I toss my doctor office brace in laundry.

Poorly designed for broken wrist & shattered hand. I was wishing to locate a brace closely similar to the one I received at the orthopedic surgeon’s office 2mos ago, bc mine is so worn & tattered looking from daily usage. But it does provide excellent support to both my wrist & my hand bones. This one , I bought on Amazon, offers very, very little to flimsy support at the wrist/forearm area and zero to hand bones. The most maddening of parts about it are its extremely thin, ineffective straps & elastic fasteners. Maybe it’d be fine for a simple wrist sprain but it fails entirely as a brace for a broken wrist and hand.

Exactly what I wanted! The shell is hard, it will not move. The inside is soft and the pads come out for cleaning. The velcro straps adjust on both ends letting me customize the fit which is especially handy at the thumb. I need something rigid and sturdy as I'm apparently contorting my hand and wrist while sleeping. The hand stabilizer/wrap type supports don't keep my wrist straight or prevent my hand from turning. This brace immobilizes my arm from elbow to the base of my fingers. It's also very light weight and smooth even with the velcro straps. It shouldn't interfere with my sleep or catch on my blankets. It's probably very easy to wear this splint around during the day as well. Good purchase!

The splint is good. The straps are terrible. I've worn this for 4-5 days and the velcro straps are already worn out and not holding. I've been trying to find replacement straps. So far, no luck.
