Overall I'm very happy with this product! I was a little thrown off by the description. The massager led me to believe it's a massage oil for body, so that's what I bought it for, not hair growth. As a massage oil, it's wonderful. It glides along the skin and stays lubricated for a long time, yet it absorbs well after you are done. The massager is so helpful to not wear out your hands, and helps with gliding along the body as well. The massager is a little smaller than another version I have, which is good for more pressure working out knots etc. It's not too thick or thin for massage, and the moisturizing quality seems very effective. It is unscented. While I would prefer a nice fragrance, my husband is sensitive to fragrance, so I consider it a plus that it's unscented. The bottle is much smaller than expected, but a little goes a long way, so I think it's a good value, especially since you get the roller as well. The pump is always a hit for me! Makes dispensing easy and mess-free.

The oil itself is thick and rich, so a little goes a long way; it feels oily at first but washes out to leave hair soft and smooth. I love the pleasant scent, which makes it easy to sit with on my scalp for treatments a couple of times a week. The ingredients are simple and clean, with no unnecessary additives. It can be tricky to distribute evenly because of the thickness, but with some experimenting, it’s definitely a moisturizing and nourishing option I’d recommend. Four stars only because it is soooo crazy thick and I feel like I'm going to rip my thin hair out trying to distribute it sometimes lmao. I just need to find the right method or something.

This oil is definitely on the thicker side ( better quality) compared to others I’ve used, which makes it a little tricky to apply on its own. To make it easier, I poured half into an amber bottle and mixed in some coconut oil with just a touch of manuka oil. That simple adjustment made the texture much smoother, and it now spreads beautifully. The scent is pleasant too, which makes using it even better. What surprised me most is how well it works as a body oil. My skin feels soft and nourished, and it’s become something my daughters and I all share with pleasure. It’s nice when one product can serve multiple purposes without feeling like you’re compromising on quality. On its own, the castor oil is a tad too heavy, but once blended, it’s been a great addition to our self-care stash. Considering the size of the bottle, it will last us quite a while, especially since only a small amount is needed each time. For the price, I’d say it’s a solid value and worth keeping around. This came well wrapped, and well sealed. It has very minimal smell and came out easily after a few pumps. I’d been worried it would fly out too quickly, but the consistency is good. It also washed off my hands easily and completely. It took a while to soak into my skin, though. And it felt like a layer over my skin for hours after. It is also no good for putting in my hair and then styling, I had to wash it out. It just stuck my hair together, it looked greasy, and I couldn’t touch it without having to wash my hands again. I have mixed, very curly, dry, frizzy hair. I definitely won’t be putting it on my face. Admittedly, I haven’t gotten a massage with it yet. Could make it worth all the stars.

This castor oil comes with a pump dispenser, so when it's fresh, it could be handy to use it on your body or hair. Unfortunately, my bottle has a sharp "rancid" smell, which may be due to it's heat exposure during summer transportation. I think I may still be able to use it in my cold process soap, to make the lather more lasting. But I won't be applying it to my skin because of the unpleasant smell. I do like the fact that the container is clear plastic. It comes with a fun roller ball, which can be used to massage sore muscles and feet.

So far I've been using this oil quite a bit, mainly for my toenails. It just seems to really help with their dryness and overall look. Still has that slight bit of nuttiness to the smell that I'm used to with castor oil, and the thickness as well. As far as I know, it's good quality, but I'm not really a judge of that sort of thing (I'd probably mainly go by smell, and it smells good to me). I really like the pump design as the other castor oil I use just comes in a bottle that you squeeze/pour it out of, this just seems a little more convenient.

This is a nice set with the massager included in the package. The castor oil arrived neatly sealed with no leakage and the massager came wrapped as well. It is very easy to pump out the castor oil and get just the right amount of product. The massager isn't top of line, but comfortable enough to apply the oil. The massager does have a bit of weight to it, which actually makes it a bit easier to work with. I haven't noticed aby results yet in terms of hair growth, but certainly haven't had any negative reactions to the product. Overall it is a decent value and if you know that castor oil is effective for you, this is worth a try.
