Women Casual Dresses Swing Tea Dress Cocktail Vintage A-Line Midi Party Dress

I bought this for a formal wedding in November. The fabric is thick enough to wear for a fall wedding and I will add some kind of dressy cardigan. The tie doesn’t make a smooth bow like in the photos but I did find another way to tie it that looks good so I am keeping it. The wedding guests are required to wear tea length or floor length dresses. I am 5’3” so this is longer on me than a true tea length. I would say the dress runs a little small, I weigh around 135 pounds and this is a large and it fits perfectly. I did order the medium also just to try both and I could not even zip the medium.

This one is a real winner! The dress is very flattering, nicely fitted bodice and the skirt flairs to fit nicely over my larger hips and thighs. For reference, I'm 64, a pear-shaped size 10, 5'5", 160 lbs, and the L fit perfectly. The modest neckline sits nicely at the collarbone and the cap sleeves hug the shoulders. The bodice is lined, although the skirt is not so you may want to consider wearing a slip. The fabric is nice with just a tad bit of stretch. The length worked well for me, hitting mid-shin/calf. I actually purchased one in the Army Green, and liked the fit so much purchased several other colors to see which worked best for my skin tone; was impressed with each of them and hard to decide which I liked best. The Grape is a nice deep purple, the Turquoise is a deep lovely almost-jade color, and the Army Green is an olive color. I am going to order in black to have in my closet as a go-to black dress.
