These tubes are great for hamster. We bought a few and our kids love creating different setups for their hamster to explore. Although they are fun on their own, we also attached them to our hamster's cages. We have two Pawhut cages and we're able to connect these to them. The three tier cage has the exact same tubes with the same connecting rings (with the locking tabs) and they connected perfectly. Our other two tier Pawhut cage has tubes with slightly different connecting rings (without the tabs) and we were able to get these to connect to the tubes on that cage too but you REALLY have to force them (see photos). I definitely recommend these.

Sorry for typos. :/ If you like being creative and building things then Tubes are the thing for you. If you have a smaller rodent, these are also amazing. I have a dwarf/robo hamster. He is small enough to turn around in these tubes. They also have a good umber of air holes, so I feel comfortable with him spending a lot of time in them. They are very simple to put together. Take the 2 sides that belong together, make sure the tine pins will have a male going to female, align and hold together, then put a ring on. Repeat for other parts and snap together. It's important to know which cages work with these tubes. Any cage from ferpast will connect. If you don't want a ferplast cage, they do offer a DIY option that might be added to any cage. I'd like to say that if you have watched any youtubers about hamsters they will say only continuous floor spaces count for cage size. There have been no studies done on that, and it is an unfound claim. The claim that you need 450 sq in of floor space is also not definitively proven. There is only so much research that was funded on hamsters and efficient cage circumstances. If you have a smaller cage than 450 sq ft, and especially if your hamster climbs the bars or chews tube might help from my experience. I don't remember how much he climbed before and after I introduced the tubes, but with 2 cages connected and a massive tube structure he never climbs on the cage bars. Bar climbing is the indicator which scientist mark down to show to level of stress a hamster is experiencing. I noticed a huge difference in comfort and activity from our hamster after adding tubes, I think he is clearly much happier even though it is not cage floor space. We have 3 packs of these tubes and cubes and he loves spending most of the day in them. He has burrowed himself a hole in the stuffing, but will spend most of the daylight hours in the clear tubes. I think it's kind of weird but he seams to really love them. You also do not have to have 4 slips on each side of a cube. I like to have 2 on bottom, one on each side, and 2 on top, so each cube I would build has a total of 6 joining clips. This makes it easy to pop open a cube that is outside the tube and leave a little treat for him or to grab out the stuffing from it if it's looking dirty with out much fuss. As indicated above, we have 3 sets of these, and really I would like more, but at 35$ it is not a easy decision to just grab them. I got my first set for something like 27$, then 30$, then 39$, but I still felt they were better priced than the "official" Ferplast tubes which can run 15$ for just one tube. There is a new listing on Amazon that has some competitive ferplast brand tubes, including a T for 5$. Do check that out if you need only 1-2 more pieces. Even then per tube these will be better price. Do be aware, as others have said that each piece is counted in that 96. So to assemble 1 tube(2 sides and 1 end ring) takes 3 pieces. You also have cube wall connectors(which will not work with smaller barred cages) that count in that 96 unfortunately. Even so they are a decent deal, in my opinion. But that said, if you only buy one set, it will leave you wanting a bit more. But more is more for your hamster who could run up to 5 miles a night if it were in the wild!

I bought this set to expand on my current Tiny Tales cage, because the cage is simply too small (I'm a new owner, so I'm still learning what a hamster needs and enjoys). As far as the product goes, it's worth noting that this is *technically* a 94 piece set, but know that every tube and corner piece is split into 2 pieces and are counted as such. The connector rings actually keep the two halves together. Just know that you're not getting a ton of tubes when the title is misleading. The 94 number also includes each little connector and clip. The tube fittings to not fit well to the Tiny Tales (PetSmart) brand, which is certainly not the product's fault, its just a note for those wishing to do the same thing as I did (see photos). They kinda fit if any pressure is applied, they will come apart. This is easily modified by stretching a few layers of electric tape within over the fitting, and trimming all excess (so the Ham can't chew the extra) and flatting it down. The pieces would fit nice and snug after about 5 layers. The rating does not reflect this. There is an awkward amount of corner/side/"X" connectors for the amount of walls they include. The varying amount is clearly not intended to use all of the pieces, which is fine, but when it comes to the wall pieces/connectors, it would be nice if there was some sort of intention. For example, there are many many walls included, so ideally I would like to make a very large extra room, or make 2 separate ones, but to do so, you would need to buy another set of tubes which seems to be their intent. I leave a 3 star for the seemingly not-thought-out quantity, intentional or not, and for charging as much for these tubes as they do, as the plastic is very cheap. The plastic is fine, but simply charging this much for it, is outlandish.

This is a great tunnel system for a reasonable price. Building the same system from original ferplast parts could easily cost 3-5 times the price, and while the difference in the "tightness" of the connectors is noticeable, this system is still very good. Most importantly, as can be seen in the photos, it connects well with Ferplast system. It is important to note, however, that the connecting rings of this set do not fit the ferplast tubes (but the ferplast rings do fit these tubes), so for the interfacing with ferplast you will need to use the ferplast rings. In any case - this is really great - enough parts to build a pretty substantial maze, and if you buy two sets like this you can easily build your hamster a megaplex to live in. Hamster loves the two-cube enclosure I created (you can build two separate cubes too if you prefer, but figured this would be nice). In the first couple of days it just roamed around, but last night it started moving some of the food and some of the base from the cage to this cube and goes to sleep in it. Kids are in heaven watching the hamster run around the maze back and forth carrying building materials.... and in general. bottom line - highly recommended. 36$ of pure joy for the kids and the hamster.

These are really fun to put together!! Their also really sturdy. Once I snapped everything together for the little house we made I had a hard time undoing them. Gives me peace of mind for our little guy. He's a backwards hamster though lol, he doesn't like a lot of tubes and really just likes to climb on the ones inside his cage. He goes in them though to get his food. Shipping was perfect, spot on Updated review: our little guy isn't so little now. He's really long. So we made his little hideout a bit bigger. Even though he's long he can still get through his tubes and he is a lot more active now. So we added to his home. He's very happy to play.

I asked the 10 year old what his review was since it's for his hamster: "It fits in the hamster cage door hole nice." Honestly, I think I had more fun assembling it than he did! We ended up buying the largest tote that we could find, and attaching his hamster cage directly to the tote. The tunnel system connects the two, and it's the coolest to see the little guy running between the cage and the tote! Love it and highly recommend!

A ton of pieces to put together and design your way which is a positive but our Syrian did not like this at all and never went in. Another downside is if you don't like it (or your hamster), you have to pay $6.99 to ship it back even though it was in its original box and did not use more than 4 tubes to try. I did not appreciate that and wish I knew upfront before buying.

Ich war erst skeptisch. China-Ware aus Plastik und auch ziemlich teuer. Aber meine Kinder hatten Spaß beim zusammenbauen und tüfteln, wie das Labyrinth aussehen soll. Unsere Hamsterdame (Goldhamster) hat es gleich angenommen und ist begeistert immer und immer wieder drin rumgelaufen. Also Empfehlung - zwar teuer aber Hamster hat Freude. Bei den Holz- und oder Rascheltunneln hat sie hingegen immer wenig bis kein Interesse gezeigt.

I’m writing this review long after my mice sadly passed but they loved these tubes, especially Zeus who slept in the tubes regularly, it’s very cool and a small space that they enjoy
