It's so hit and miss buying paper but this is a hit. Thick, white, slightly textured, no curl when drying. Will only buy this from now on in all sizes. My granddaughter and I have used it for watercolour psint, collage, pen and ink and felt tip mixed media. All successful. Easy to rub pencil guidelines off. Currently making bookmarks as thick enough to be made with just one sheet.

Really love this paper and get great results with it for watercolour painting. Am on my third one now, use it all the time. Very good quality for a good price compared to other more expensive brands

I really like the quality of this paper also the texture. It absorbs well when I am water painting, or black ink sketching, I enjoy using it, it’s reliable.

I've been learning Arabic Calligraphy for a bit and I wanted to branch out into using colour alongside brushes so this set was absolutely ideal! I started off outlining the lettering on the paper and I could tell that the feel underhand was better than what I had bought initially. The paper is an ideal thickness so when painting it does not crumple or disintegrate as some others do. The palette and brushes are also a great addition and of good quality since they are easy to wash after use. Using a pair of scissors it was quite straightforward for me to cut the straight brushes into oblique ones and use the remainder for detailing. Overall I'm very happy with the set and it's helped me make progress with my new hobby!

I normally use paper by Daler Rowney. ' The Langton ' to be precise. I have found this paper to be nearly as good. It retains marks and keeps good brightness in the colours. It seems to be workable. I have no idea regarding it's archival quality. It's good in the moment. It would be an excellent paper for sketching out ideas. It behaves as good as 'the Langton'. As for it's Cotton Content I'm not sure. It doesn't specify anywhere on it's cover how much cotton content it has. I become even more dubious because it doesn't have this information printed anywhere on the item. Because Cotton content is a desireable quality in a watercolour paper you may think that they would advertise it more by having it actually written on the front cover of the pad. It is in the product description though. However I have never used a 100% Cotton content paper so I am unable to state with any authority if this paper actually has any cotton content at all. It is however adequate to good for purpose. But it would be nice to see the Cotton Content claim actually stated on the item.
