“Tony Robbins returns with another must-read financial book, revealing the strategies of many of the world’s greatest investors.” —Ray Dalio, Founder of Bridgewater and author of Principles Tony Robbins has helped millions master their relationship with money, build wealth, and achieve financial independence. Here Robbins and renowned investor Christopher Zook team up to reveal the alternative investment strategies of the world’s smartest money. For decades, trillions of dollars in “Smart Money” has been making outsized returns using Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, and other Alternative Investments. Robbins teams up with renowned Alternative Investment expert Christopher Zook to sit down with more than a dozen of the world’s greatest private asset managers, collectively managing more than half a trillion dollars on behalf of investors. Take your seat at the table of titans and learn: -How professional sports as an emerging alternative investment category with durable, long-term growth potential -How to identify investment opportunities at the intersection of energy abundance and AI industrialization -How to invest in the growing intersection of space, defense, and advanced technology -How many of the titans interviewed have generated north of 20% compounded returns for decades Review: Such a fantastic break down - As someone who's just dipping their toes into the vast ocean of investing, Tony Robbins' latest book, "The Holy Grail of Investing," was like a guiding light in a dark tunnel. With Robbins' reputation as a motivational guru, I was expecting a blend of inspiration and practical advice, and I wasn't disappointed. Robbins has a unique talent for distilling complex concepts into digestible nuggets, and that's exactly what he does in this book. He starts by laying down the fundamentals, explaining the importance of setting clear goals and understanding one's risk tolerance. For someone like me, who's still trying to figure out the difference between stocks and bonds, this foundational knowledge was invaluable. One aspect of the book that I particularly appreciated was its accessibility. Robbins doesn't drown readers in jargon or complicated theories. Instead, he uses relatable examples and anecdotes to illustrate his points. Whether he's talking about the power of compound interest or the pitfalls of emotional investing, Robbins' down-to-earth approach makes the material easy to grasp. But what truly sets "The Holy Grail of Investing" apart is its emphasis on mindset. Robbins doesn't just focus on the technical aspects of investing; he also delves into the psychological barriers that can hold people back. From fear of failure to the temptation of chasing quick returns, Robbins addresses the mental obstacles that can trip up even the most seasoned investors. Of course, no investing book would be complete without a discussion of strategy, and Robbins doesn't disappoint in this regard. He covers a wide range of investment options, from index funds to real estate, providing readers with a comprehensive toolkit for building wealth over the long term. And while he's not shy about sharing his own preferred strategies, Robbins also emphasizes the importance of finding an approach that aligns with one's individual goals and risk tolerance. In summary, "The Holy Grail of Investing" is a must-read for anyone who's new to the world of investing. Robbins' blend of practical advice, motivational insights, and accessible writing style make this book a valuable resource for beginners like myself. Whether you're dreaming of early retirement or simply looking to build a more secure financial future, Robbins' guidance will set you Review: A literal goldmine of investment advice - I've been a fan of Tony Robbins for a while now, especially when it comes to his inside scoop on money advice from the best in the business. I acted on a couple strategies from Money Master the Game that worked out quite well, so when I heard about "The Holy Grail of Investing," I was excited to dive in. It did not disappoint. This book is the final piece of Robbins' financial freedom puzzle, and it's all about the secret sauce of investing: alternative investments. Think beyond the stock market—this is about getting into the cool stuff like private equity, venture capital, and even owning bits of sports teams. Sounds wild, right? Well, they lay it all out in a way that actually makes sense for retail investors. The coolest part is the interviews with some of the biggest names in investing. We're talking about absolute legends. These guys are the real deal, and they spill their strategies and stories. What I love about this book is how it breaks down the big, scary world of alternative investments into bite-sized, actionable pieces. Whether you're looking to diversify your portfolio, hedge against inflation, or just curious about how to get into some high-return investments, the book covers it. It even talks about new rules that let average Joes and Janes own a piece of professional sports teams or how to get into the energy game. Reading "The Holy Grail of Investing" felt like finally getting the inside scoop on how the rich get richer. It's not just inspirational; it's like a roadmap to potentially leveling up your investment game. And the timing couldn't be better, with all these new doors opening up for individual investors. In short, this book is a goldmine of info on making moves in the investment world that could pay off big time. It's not just another finance book—it's a guide to thinking bigger and tapping into opportunities you probably didn't even know existed. I'll definitely be keeping it close by and referring back to it. Two thumbs up for making the complex world of big-time investing seem within reach!

Big Tony Robbins Fan. Disappointed with this.
Yes, this book absolutely reveals the Holy Grail of Investing. It's something I knew about years ago from the Rich Dad, Poor Dad series by Robert Kiyosaki. Tony expands on this and lays it out very nicely. Before buying the book I also watched him do an interview about it with Glenn Beck. In addition I have also attended (virtually) an Unleash the Power Within seminar. I 1000% recommend that or even more so if you can attend in person. Anyway, back to this book. Unfortunately, the problem that stops most people from being able to take advantage of these investing opportunities still exists. Unless you are wealthy enough you cannot be an accredited investor, unless you are an accredited investor, you cannot invest in these investments. The SEC has set these rules to "protect" us. There is a bill in congress to change this so that the rest of us can be in a position to invest this way. So, if you have a few hundred thousand dollar income and a net worth of 1 million+ (I can't recall the exact figures off the top of my head), then this book will show you some lucrative yet relatively safe (from a risk reward standpoint) set of vehicles you might consider investing in. If you aren't in such a position you might want to read it so you can take advantage of the opportunities when your position changes or the law changes.

Not as practical as Unshakeable
I'm writing this as someone who considers himself to be a Tony Robbins fan. I've attended Unleashed the Power Within event in person, and another 1 day event locally. I've read Unshakeable, Money Master the Game, Lifeforce, and another one of his books before this one. With that being said, I had high hopes for this book as Unshakeable truly shaped my financial journey to be where it is today and I owe a lot to it. Compared to Unshakeable, this book was really disappointing in several ways for me: 1. The book felt like it was trying to sell me on services/products the entire time I was reading it. I know the previous books of his also had this same energy, but in the past, there was still an immense amount of value in the books themselves to where I felt like even if I didn't buy the products/services mentioned, I still got enough value out of it to make changes in my life instantly. This was the case with Unshakeable. With this new book, I got some knowledge as far what are some new investment strategies I could look into, but they're pretty gate kept to the average consumer unless I got in touch with the business he mentions quite often in the book and also is the co-author. 2. The average reader won't be able to do much with this info as it's mainly targeted to those with higher income. I checked out the firm mentioned in the book and since we're now talking about making the big bucks, you also need big bucks to even be considered. Throughout the book, Tony kept saying how these investment opportunities are incredibly hard to find, even for the wealthy. I was hoping this would lead to a set up later on where Tony would announce that he was going to help the average investor get in on these same opportunities some how, being as awesome as he is, but this never happened. 3. First half of the book is just him selling you on the ideas of why these investment strategies are awesome, which they definitely sound great. After everything said and done, it left me saying, "great, I'm all in! Show me how to do it" and all I get at the end of each chapter is "visit this site to learn more". Basically I bought the book just to have it lead me to a site. 4. The second half is filled with interviews with some big players but honestly the format rubbed me the wrong way. They also just felt like fluff and being it's 2024, I'd rather have these be in podcast form (whether audio or video) instead of being put in a book, since these were formatted in the book like an interview. Just seemed like they were trying to fill the book up to make it look more substantial than it really is. I guess I was really hoping that this book would be the sequel to Unshakeable--in terms of helping investors who have read Unshakeable, got some money saved up now and want to try some bigger investments--and technically it is all of that, but the jump from Unshakeable to this is so big, I feel like we skipped some income brackets.

Sales pitch for friends company
Regret buying this. While there's good information it's is laced with a sales pitch for his buddy's investment firm CAZ. The private equity GP stakes chapter begins and ends with mentions links to them. The investment strategy described (ignoring the sales pitch) is very interesting and is a description of how the wealthy operate. Author is great motivational speaker and salesman. So expect no less, the book is about to motivate to buy something...

Best book on investing I've ever read
3 Things I absolutely loved about The Holy Grail of Investing: 1. My dad has always said "I'm tired of being broke" and after reading this book, I can finally see a pathway for my dad to finally get access to investments that previously only the ultra-wealthy had access to. For anyone that has seen someone work so hard and still not get ahead, this book is eye-opening and provides a pathway to financial freedom.. and hope! 2. Learning from the greatest minds in finance that share their secrets to success. Tony is a master of extracting the deepest knowledge and insight from the world's greatest investors. I've read every one of Tony's financial books and each have helped us get ahead. From redistributing where and how we spend our money, how we can offset taxes, and diversify out portfolio to offset risk, each has served. The Holy Grail of Investing is next level in providing such valuable insight how where and how to invest your money. 3. The interviews!!! Wow! If you ever wondered how successful people achieved financial success, the second half of this book is brilliant. Each interviewee shares a bit of gold that we is equally applicable to your financial mindset, but also our lives, businesses and the teams we lead. I cannot recommend this book enough. I'm already re-reading it and I plan to gift it to everyone I know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Interesting view of what the rich do
Another great book by Tony which shares his interviews with great investors on some of the alternative investments. If you are the ordinary man on the street, the ideas are probably in achievable for you but nonetheless an interesting read.

Valuable Insights
The Holy Grail of Investing by Tony Robbins and Christopher Zook is undeniably packed with high-level access and perspectives you won’t find in most investing books. The interviews, featuring names like Robert F. Smith and Vinod Khosla, make this worth reading if you’re serious about understanding how elite investors think. That said, the title overpromises. This isn’t a practical, step-by-step playbook for the average investor. It’s a window into the world of alternative investments, private equity, venture capital, and private credit spaces that are, in reality, still largely inaccessible to most individuals. The strategies discussed are insightful, but often difficult to apply unless you already operate at a certain financial level. Where the book shines is in mindset and exposure. You begin to see how top investors approach risk, structure deals, and think long-term. It broadens your perspective. But if you’re expecting clear, actionable steps you can implement immediately, you may find yourself frustrated. In short: Excellent for expanding your financial worldview Less effective for hands-on execution It’s a strong addition to the financial freedom series, but not the definitive guide the title suggests. Read it to think bigger, not to follow a blueprint.
