Does this licorice salt taste anything like salmiac/salmiak licorice from Europe?

No, I would not say it tastes like salmiac/salmiak. It has raw licorice powder made from Persian licorice root.

Is the salt ammonium chloride like what is in Salminak

No, this is salt with raw liquorice root.

Does this licorice salt contain aniseed/anethol?

No, the salt does not contain aniseed. The ingredients are flaky sea salt and raw licorice powder.

Does it go spoil? I can't read the best by date. Wondering if the best by date is from a flavor or safety point of view

It is very unlikely to go bad as long as it is kept a dry place. It is a salt, and salts usually do not go bad. Some oxidation could take place of any non-salt parts that might be part of the formula, but that would be minor.
