Anger - Discovery tool
Use this book in a Master's program in spiritual counseling. Great book with lots of insight on dealing with different situtions. The book was mandatory for my class; however, I am glad it is now a part of my collection of books.

Excellent book about how a Christian should view anger
This fairly short book (120 pages) is packed with accessible information about anger and the Christian's response to their own anger. Rather than making a blanket statement that anger is wrong, Andrew Lester shows why it is important (as a reaction to a perceived threat), how we can use it, with examples of both Jesus and God being angry in the Bible, as well as offering processes to deal with anger creatively. I found the insight into what causes anger to be fascinating and very helpful in understanding myself and others. There are lots of examples from everyday lives which help to illustrate his points and overall the book is a very worthwhile read. Furthermore, despite being an American book he gives few examples that don't work in British culture and writes in a tolerant and engaging style which works well over here.
