These drives are impressive and have a huge noticeable improvement to our old laptop. I didn't want to through the old laptop away, so decided to upgrade it and use it as a simple old school games machine. I had never heard of this product brand before. but know now that FANXIANG is trusted quality and very reliable. Having already bought a 1tb version for my ageing netbook which gave it a useful performance boost, I decided to buy A 2tb one for my Windows 10 desktop pc. I used Macrium Reflect to clone my system disk via a USB to sata adapter. It took a while but after swapping the drives it booted up fine. There is a noticeable boost in performance on my old PC. Only time will tell how the ssd holds up but so far, so good. *UPDATE JUNE 2025* I suddenly started to get some weird behaviour from my PC after booting, with Windows 11 running really slowly, becoming unresponsive and eventually locking up completely. After running a few tests and trying to repair Windows, which was unsuccessful, I tried to reinstall the operating system. That also ran into multiple problems too, even when trying a clean install, so I replaced the drive with the HDD I'd removed previously and the PC ran perfectly. I can only surmise that the SSD was at fault, despite all of the tests saying there were no problems detected. I gave up and bought a Western Digital drive instead. In all honesty I can't say I have any faith in the drive because like so many others, it's just not reliable long-term.

What not bad for Windows systems, but completely ignored by old mac's (mid 2014) its just cant see it then connected directly, but perfectly working via usb adapter, not sure is it native drivers missing in mac os (tryed Lyon, el Capitan, Big Sur, Sequola - on macbook pro '2011, macmini '2014) but will not recomend for use in macs

Right like any normal person i saw a uknown brand ssd and intantly thought ill buy it now then ill swap it out for a known brand at the end of the month however this drive had been beautiful i orginally had it a laptop that id replaced the hdd with and it improved the performance loads my boot time was practically shot in half, then once i built my pc i had no use for my laptop so took the drive out and stuck it in my ps4 and now that console yes its outdated and stil quite slow for the games i play it sped up the loading a lot and has been there ever since and even checking the drive with crystal disk its still running perfectly with no issues. so i will be buy ing more drives rom Fanxiang in the future

Easy to install as a replacement C drive on my laptop. I cloned the Original drive to the new and it came up a treat. Recommended.

Got the unit today. I formatted in a Atomos Ninja Ultra and then had to go into file exploper (PC) and give the card access. Once done, I was able to copy a 4k 422 10bit file of 57Gb. It transfered quickly and played back without the hitch. Placed into the Ninja with a Lumix BGH1 at 4k 60p and card could not, did not and cannot record. The card sent a warning to the Ninja, 'compressed resolution to 720p. I switched to my standard set up: 4K DCI vLOG 24P, 422 / 10 bit and record for two hours and 11 minutes. Card never quit. Played back and perfect. Let's hope this card has legges.
