Excellent for the low price, but cheaply made a expected.
I got the mig 140 model on a closeout deal for $67. Absolutely couldn't pass it up at the price. My biggest complaint about it is the small dinse connections that don't seem to lock in place very securely. It welds very well with .030"/0.8mm flux core wire. Does pretty well with 3/32" 6013 rods, but doesn't seem to handle 6011 at all (couldn't keep the rod going with any arc length). 3/32" 7018 did ok, but it definitely is best with the flux core wire feed function. I do like that the machine automatically matches amperage / wire speed to make a good weld. I think it would be nice if there were a chart to correlate to material size / wire speed. I set the flux core amperage at around 100A and I'd say that was about right for 1/8" mild steel.
