Very happy with device. Makes two mugs of coffee, so likely 4-5 cups. Does keep coffee warm under 30 minutes. Easy to clean, no issues when pouring. Works really well. Was not looking for other than another glass one but this was good value for money and looks really stylish.

I brewed a full pot, and the coffee stayed hot for a good 45 minutes without any external heating. The 3-layered stainless steel filter system is another standout feature. It presses smoothly and traps the grounds neatly at the bottom without letting fine grit escape into the brew — something cheaper models often struggle with. The plunger mechanism is sturdy, with a tight seal that makes it easy to brew a clean cup every time. Brewing with it is simple: add your ground coffee, pour hot water, let it steep for 4–5 minutes, press down the plunger slowly, and you're done. The resulting coffee is rich, full-bodied, and properly hot. The taste is clean and smooth, without any of the bitterness that can come from over-extraction in electric machines. Cleaning is a breeze too. The parts come apart easily for a thorough rinse, and since it’s stainless steel, there’s no risk of cracking or staining like you get with glass models. Another bonus: it's dishwasher safe. I usually give it a quick rinse after each use and a deeper clean in the dishwasher at the weekend. If I had to point out a very minor downside, the polished handle can be a bit slippery if your hands are wet — but it’s easy enough to work around by drying your hand quickly. I really like this cafetière. It keeps the coffee hot for longer with the insulated walls. It’s sturdy and filter the coffee really well. The colour (if you can call metal a colour) is gloriously shiny. Big enough for just one large coffee. You can’t fully depress the plunger until you’ve poured half the coffee, then plunge the remainder.

I bought this to replace my old paper filter coffee machine. The Cafetière is solidly made and it couldn't be more simple to use. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the fine mesh filter stops even the smallest coffee grains from getting into your cup, and the enclosed spare filter is a nice touch. I originally got the 1 litre pot but being a solo coffee drinker, I found it a little too large. The 600 ml version is perfect for me. I wouldn't recommend getting the 0.35l version unless you are are happy to have 1 half mug full of coffee. It is advertised as 4 cups, but this depends on the size of your cups. It delivers 1 large (500 ml) mug full of coffee, if you put any more hot water into the Cafetière, you run the risk of it over-flowing out of the spout. Although it is double walled, I found it will only keep the coffee hot(ish) for a maximum of 30 minutes, which in fairness is enough time to drink a couple of cups of coffee. Washing the cafetière is easy, you just rinse under the tap. In summary, it's a great coffee maker eliminating the use of paper filters and it should last a long time. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

Bought as a replacement for a coffee pod machine. This is a well made and good design coffee cafetiere. Looks stylish when on worktop. Makes 2 good sized coffee mugs easily probably 5 / 6 cups? Easy to clean when used. ( Tip. To clear coffee grounds out of cafetiere. Swill with water and empty into a tea strainer. This allows them to dry out before throwing into composter. Makes cleaning Cafetiere easier after use).Coffee does taste better than coffee pods. Only issue NO coffee spoon supplied? Thought for a few pence more this could be included. Having said that very pleased with the item.

Nice size for a couple of cups and keeps the coffee fairly warm - looks good and seems sturdy. robust quality.

I've had 2 of these now as my last one was stolen by an idiot ex girlfriend who had nothing better to do than to steal my stuff, but that's a long boring story for another day! These are chuffing awesome, it won't break because it's not made of glass, so this makes it ideal for camping and very portable, the build quality is spot on, ideal size for a morning pot for me or for a group. So pleased I got the smaller size to take with my jetboil. Very very happy!

The double-walled stainless steel insulation is a huge upgrade over my old glass press. It keeps the coffee piping hot for a long time, and the fine mesh filter does an amazing job of keeping grounds out of my cup. It feels very durable and isn't prone to breaking like glass models. Pros: Superior insulation, durable stainless steel build, and very effective filtration. Cons: It’s a bit more involved to clean than a glass carafe, but it's worth it for the performance.
