While this is labeled (at least on the packaging) as a "bottle opener," it's actually much more exciting just opening IT, if you know what I mean!This trainer works very nicely. I'm not a pro at flipping or at balisongs by any means, but I know the basics. This nicely fills the role for a blunt flipper to practice with.Note: there is no latch on this, I am sorry to say. It would be much better if it had one, but it just doesn't. Probably your best bet would be to tape the handle end to mark where the latch would be, or to establish which is your "safe" handle and which is your "bite" handle.Measurements: 4.5 inch "blade" and 5.5 inch handle. 111 grams. The balance point is about 1 inch south of the pivots, making this handle heavy.The tensioning screws work as they should and are well-made. Anodizing is great, in a nice slightly-blue gray color. Construction is solid and there is no play or slop in the pivots.Summary: It's very nice overall - adding a latch would make it just about perfect.

one side is more stiff than the other. it doesnt flip well, it doesnt sound good. at all. not a fun trainer. no spare hardware. probably will return.UPDATE: keedas messaged me offering a full refund. After i asked for the refund they kept messaging me and not giving me my refund. They kept offering another trainer. Which i dont want. After the 3rd time asking for a refund they said they would only refund half. So they lied AND their product is inferior. Typical of chinese companies.
