This is the best rice ever, I cook it in the crockpot. It’s just a little more water than it asks for, and I put some bouillon in there. Great texture and taste.

I've discovered it makes an awesome addition to most soups. I'm an experimenter so I happily discovered wild rice is an excellent oatmeal substitute. My hot "porridge" turned out delicious with more texture than oatmeal. Brown sugar and cream made it decadent but still healthy alternative to oatmeal. Ok.. yeah maybe the cream and sugar aren't health foods. But native healthy wild rice? Surely redemptive. The package is huge so you can afford to give little ziplocks with a favorite recipe to friends.
