Hands work perfectly for a costume.
The fans work great in my costumes. The fans kept me nice and cool. I love that the cord is long, so I could put the battery pack, I connected it to, in my pocket.

Perfect for Cosplay Helmets
Great for cosplay helmets. I took a helmet to a renn faire a few weeks ago and could NOT keep it on without terribly overheating. Was looking for a way to keep the helmet on for the whole time. Wiring was easy enough, bit long on the cables, but all you need are some velcro strips. The adjustment for the fan speeds is great. I can hear and have a conversation with the fans at max speed, but even on the lowest setting, the airflow is decent and barely can hear the fans at all even though it's right next to my ear. Lasted all day in an 80 degree, sunny day at the renn faire, will bring to many more!

This works really well in our RV fridge. It circulates the air from top to bottom and it’s very effective.

Good for Airflow for helmet Costume
I used it for airflow in my Costume Helmet, easy to control, thankfully, the wires were long, easy to manage, and basically plug and play works connected on a power bank also
