Great pantry staple
Been trying my hand at a broader spectrum of Asian inspired dishes. This has been a quality staple to help me nail some authentic flavor. I love it.

Amazing Flavor and Value
This light soy sauce is simply amazing. It has wonderful flavor perfect for making Filipino Chicken Adobo. If you don’t know the difference between this and regular dark soy sauce, this one had a better flavor for seasoning dishes. Dark soy sauce, like the well know brand that starts with “Ki” has too overwhelming a flavor, to the point that its all you taste. I actually prefer Light for everything. It’s just so much better. And this brand is a favorite. Beware, this bottle is huge. But it lasts a long time and you can use a little in nearly any Asian dish you want. It’s also the best with Sushi.

Nice changed to salty
I don't know how to grade this product. It is light and smells good. But! I received this item yesterday and the expiration date says 27 Sep 2024. And there is no return for health and safety reasons. I believe it will still be good for the next 6 months: hope! Update 14 Oct 2024. I used this product yesterday to make a tofu stir fry with wide noodles. And I'm never going to use it again. It's way too salty. My bad. For now on in, I'll buy low sodium, gluten free.

A Pantry Staple That Elevates Every Dish
I’ve tried quite a few soy sauces over the years, and this one has quickly become my go-to. The flavor is perfectly balanced—light yet rich, with just the right amount of saltiness to enhance dishes without overpowering them. It adds a wonderful depth to everything from stir-fries to marinades. What I really love is how versatile it is. I’ve used it for Chinese cooking, drizzling over sushi, and even in Korean recipes, and it performs beautifully every time. The quality is noticeably better than many standard grocery store brands—it tastes more authentic and less harsh. The large bottle is also a great value, especially if you cook often like I do. It lasts a while and maintains its flavor well. Overall, this soy sauce has made a noticeable difference in my cooking, and I’ll definitely be buying it again. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Asian cuisine or just wants to upgrade their seasoning game!

Not "clear, amber-gold", very high salt, but better taste
Ignore the comparison chart - it's Not "Clear, amber-gold". It's color and transparency is almost the same any general purpose sauce. It is 30%-40% saltier than any other soy sauce I've used, but the flavor difference between it and Kikkoman is big. Yes, the label does have a lead content warning on it in almost microscopic type. I expect it's almost zero. It's the only soy sauce I've seen that tells you to refrigerate after opening. With that much salt in it I doubt it'll spoil... It is MUCH mellower than the usual general purpose sauces, the difference is surprising. Watch out for the cap leaking. I will buy again.
