So far I’m completely in love with this combi microwave. It actually is a proper air fryer, microwave and oven. I was determined to use all the functions not just have it as a glorified expensive microwave. It’s cooked a 1.5kg chicken in an hour - it was really moist with crispy skin. I’ve also roasted a pork joint with cracklin in it. Using the food menu, you just put the weight in and it then microwaves, bakes the air fries the food to crisp it up at the end. Its slightly deeper in size than my old microwave but it’s means I can loose one of my other air fryers so have ended up with more counter space. I was a little concerned as it had a high return rate maker on Amazon but unless it doesn’t travel well if the delivery service isn’t careful with it - I can’t see anything wrong with it. Well worth the extra money if you truly want a something that does all the functions well separately but also combined. It’s easy to operate and quite straight forward. I’m really chuffed with this purchase.

Decided to get rid of my air fryer and toaster to make some room so chose the sage combi wave 3 in 1, Did my research on what I thought was the best and this one came top . Had it a couple of months now it's an amazing piece of kit, an oven, air fryer, microwave, grill and it has options for melting chocolate, butter and also a food menu in the display window. Really easy to use, a bit more room is needed as it is quite large over all it's good quality a bit pricey but well worth the money would definitely recommend

Microwave does everything it should and am very pleased with it. Not sure if I am missing a part from the hole in the picture but the glass plate skids when rotating as it appears to be missing something to mate with the glass.

This piece of kit is quite large and was heavy to lift onto the counter. People have said the menus are confusing. I find them logical and very straightforward. It’s a good looking piece of equipment. Am already pleased with the results.

Thought it would be a good microwave, with the price point aswell but only used it for a month and most of the time it would heat up the plate and not the food. Then one day it just stopped working and caused a power outage. Really disappointed with this

I needed to buy a microwave and an air fryer as both needed replaced at roughly the same time. I have a small kitchen and thought it would be a good idea to get the Sage combi to save space and l also liked the look of it. It was bigger than l realised but still saving me space. It’s gorgeous to look at- and very well finished. I made scrambled eggs today with the microwave function and they were perfectly cooked then later l used the grill function grill my toast and cheese again well cooked. It seems very easy to use and the instructions are very detailed. It’s also British made which is a bonus as so many things are made elsewhere. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone.

It is a great oven overall. It does most things well. A bit so-so in its air-fry mode, but I don’t expect an all-in-one to actually excel at all things. However, there is a problem with the crisping pan. The fixing point on the legs are said to be silicone, but still one of them melted recently, making the pan unusable. there are multiple reports of similar issues in reviews on the sage website. Mine is only 6 months old, so I've requested warranty replacement. But Sage came back with "The Pan Crisper is currently unavailable and we do not know when it will be back in stock." So that's not good... Reduced to three stars for poor support of what is obviously a design flaw. I guess I’ll buy a cheap crisping pan on amazon, and try to find a trivet that will raise it to the correct height.

First of all the purchase and supply of this item was faultless. Any criticism I have is with the marketing of this appliance by the manufacturers. I looked at lots of product reviews before purchasing this Sage Combi Wave 3 in 1 microwave to replace my excellent but now faulty (after 10+ years) Sharp R959. I also wanted an 'inverter' microwave. At £359 (black model) the appliance is at the top end of similar combination microwaves. The problem is that IMHO this appliance is not a true 'combination' oven. It IS an appliance that cooks with convection heat and with microwaves but not really in combination. There is no manual control over the microwave level when the appliance is in its only combination mode which is 'fast combi' mode. The temperature can be set but it also applies a mystery amount of microwave power and even some grill use, but neither are manually controllable. A call to Sage UK reveals that the combi name arises from the fact that this is a single appliance with multiple functions although they are not really intended to be used simultaneously, certain not with any degree of manual control. Also the 'air fryer' element is, again IMHO opinion, a gimmick. It is simply the convection oven used at higher heat. I doubt if the person who is responsible for cleaning the appliance ever uses the air fryer function. I note that older combination appliances are now marketed as having the air fryer mode although the facility does not feature in their original manuals. I have returned this item as it does not perform as a true 'combination' oven as it does not allow full control over convection and microwave power levels as a true combination oven should do. Another aside is that the 'black' model is actually a charcoal grey colour. I have ordered the Panasonic NN-CT56RBBPQ which does allow full control over these functions.

Its not the cheapest, but it looks amazing. You are likely buying this (like me) to save on having multiple items, save on counter top space and most important of all, it looks lovely. I use the microwave function several times a day and it works fine, the airfyer i have used twice, not the most powerful and not as noisy as my much older machine before this, but it does the job well. Not use the grill or oven function yet. I have had it for over 2 months and love it.

This is great looking. This is the first microwave sitting on a counter that looks kinda built in. I love all the buttons and the bell and soft close door. Microwave works nice. The reason for the four instead of five stars is the air fryer did take a while. Maybe it’s a user error but I noticed reviews mentioning this. I would still buy again because I was buying for looks…
