Hands down the best trim scissors youโll ever find!
Certified bad arse trim scissors! Iโve blown through a ton of different pairs with the spring in the middle and theyโre all the same, but these really take your trim game to the next level. Not having a spring in there lets your hand move naturally without fighting the tension, you just wrap your finger around the guard and allow it to open and close with ease. The blades are super sharp, super stiff, donโt flex and wobble, and slice through anything like itโs butter. Keep in mind I do use different scissors for stems and stocks these are strictly for leaves. I highly recommend getting a pair of the curved scissors and a pair of the straight scissors, then with a shot glass of alcohol you can alternate between the two and trim for hours on end. If youโre going to be doing a grow or you trim more than a few plants a year I highly suggest investing the money, itโs well worth every penny spent. On the topic of money, Iโve tried both their expensive blue handle and the cheaper orange handle originals and we say thereโs not much of a difference between the 500 series, the 550 series, the 650 series, so Reali get the ones that fit your budget most and youโll be happy. Just going to the brand and getting this style of scissor is where youโll get the lion share of the improvement, going between the product lines I didnโt notice much at all.

Elite
The best got even better. Longtime B500 user, but Iโm fully converted to the B600. The thinner tip allows for more precise trimming. Allowing the user to remove sugar and fan leaves at the base of the stem without damaging the flowers.

Wonderful bud scissors
You just canโt beat Chikamasa scissors! Itโs all I use for bud trimming. I used to get the cheap stuff but no more. These are super cool for cutting the buds off the stalk. Very sharp & they hold an edge for a long time. Sure glad I got these.

Cannabis Trimmer
I usually use the orange handled snips from this brand for Cannabis Trimming. Thought I would give these a try. They are super Sharp, but the coding doesn't stop resin from sticking. I did like the sharp point at the end of the snips but they are straight and have no curve. Overall nice pair of snips but I still prefer the orange-handled ones for cannabis trimming.

b600sufb vs b500sf for bud trimming
I work as a marijuana trimmer. Chikamasa scissors are regarded as some of the best out there for this profession. However, most use the standard orange handled ones. I couldn't find much info or reviews on this model in particular so I decided to leave a review here. I will be comparing them to the standard b500sf that most are familiar with in the context of bud trimming. For those not in the know, Chikamasa scissors are highly praised in the industry. Compared to spring loaded gardening scissors like the Fiskar's or their cheaper counter parts, these Chikamasa scissors can help with hand fatigue as you aren't fighting the spring on each snip. For regular around the house use anything works, but when your job is to sit for eight hours snipping away, ergonomics becomes a major concern. They are not for everyone, but for those that prefer them, they are magical. First off, if you are a b500sf enjoyer like myself, you can think of these as mostly a direct upgrade. The blue handle is shaped in such a way that it gives a nice comfortable place to rest your index finger while trimming which is absent on the b500sf. The blades are pretty much identical except for a relief cut towards the tips making them a little narrower. The narrower tips may or may not be an improvement, but it doesn't hurt. You get the same sharpness and ease of use as the more standard scissors. There are curved versions of both scissors available, but for my needs I prefer the strait blades. The curved blades seem to struggle cutting through thicker stems. While I don't particularly recommend cutting stems with these, it is something I tend to do on the job. While I usually try to cut stems with the rear of the blades, sometimes you need to use the part closer to the tip. In that situation, the curved blades tend to separate from each other instead of cutting. At the time of writing this review these cost $22 each. Which is kind of steep. The b500sf can be had for $14 each which is important to note because trimming bud requires multiple scissors. At work, I use three in total. I keep them in an alcohol solution and rotate through them as they get sticky. So really you are looking at $66 dollars vs $42. In fact, it is cheaper to buy three b500sf and one b600sufb than it is to buy three b600sufb. I guess I should mention the coating on these scissors. Weed is sticky. Exceptionally sticky. As such, I honestly have no idea if the coating even helps. Your best bet is to just use multiple scissors. Maybe the coating is the "bee's knees" when using these for grapes, but the marijuana I trim is often like cutting through a mixture of maple syrup and grass clippings. No NASA developed space coating is going to really do much good. All in all, these work how you expect. There is almost no resistance while snipping. The blades are extremely sharp and hold their edge well. They are everything you expect from the Chikamasa you know and love, just a bit more comfortable. Is it $8 worth of comfort? If you are just adding one pair to your arsenal, or think you only need one then go ahead and grab these over the regular, but if you need to buy a set, or need to supply a whole business, the cost difference adds up quick.

Exactly what youโd expect for $35
They snip easily right to the point. They fit well in your hand. The handle rubber is well textured. I love them. A bit on the expensive side but the quality is there.
