Review: Unstable Touchscreen - *12/28/2024 Update - **Removing Screen Potector Makes Previous Problems Go Away. Changed to 5-star** I have a tech savvy son-in-law who told me that the problems I was having with the screen could be related to the screen protector causing problems. I didn't like the idea of not having a screen protector, so I didn't act on in right away. But when the problems became bad enough that I was seriously considering getting a new phone, I decided to see what would happen if I removed the protector. Amazing! All the screen related problems cleared up! I have been protectorless for about a month now, and only once have I been forced to restart my phone due to a performance-related issue. Added bonus - the battery charge seems to last longer as well, probably because my phone was doing so many things on its own while in my pocket before. Original Review, around March 30, 2024 - I bought this phone because of all the good reviews and that it was affordable. I had had bad experiences with Samsung phones in the past, but I thought maybe they had improved. I was disappointed. Within a couple of days, when I was trying to type out texts, I found that even if I very carefully pushed on a letter that I wanted, another letter, or number, or word would show up in the text box. I would have to re-start the phone to get it to work again. And that was not all. Other times the screen would start jittering badly, or quickly shifting back and forth between two apps when I wasn't even touching it. This behavior has persisted. The battery saving feature takes a while to get it right. This feature keeps you from over-charging it, and stops the charging when the battery gets to 85% full. For the first few weeks, this resulted in me sometimes running out of power before my day was through. This feature has some king of AI support, I think, and it has gotten better over time. It still says it only gets 85% full, but it usually lasts a whole day unless I am using it very heavily. Otherwise, the phone seems to work well, but the screen problem is bad enough that I can only give this a two star rating.
Review: The little bro of Samsung - So where to begin I got this phone to replace my other A series phone because I use them for carrying extra storage. Since the mainline phones have the extra storage part taken out. Since last year when I bought the phone I've dropped it plenty of time so its safe to say these phones are far more durable than previous A series phones. I haven't had much issues far as scratches go or heating issue. The phone has remained in great condition even with all I put it through. Its extra storage is the only reason I got the phone so its functionally a great fit for those needing or looking for that extra storage. It looks great with its sleek design and like I said I haven't had a problem when the phone has a heat issue. I'm sure its scratch resistant as well. All in all I like it and will say it was worth the buy since I can add an SD card to it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty good for a budget phone

I bought this as a secondary work phone. I use a Galaxy S23 Ultra normally. Really, as a budget phone, it's pretty nice. I admit I've been spoiled by the Ultra. The A15 is by comparison pretty sluggish and laggy. The haptics are by comparison very clunky and not at all refined like the Ultra. But it does what I need it to do. I like that it has dual sim. E-sim would've been nice, but can't have it all. I can definitely see how the A15 would be perfectly good for someone who doesn't require or want the Ultra level performance. I'd say most people would be happy with this device. If I hadn't been daily driving an Ultra for the past year, I'd probably say the A15 is a 5-star phone. It's good, but not top tier. Update: battery life is excellent.
