Genius.
I do love this. The Popadome is essentially a tent, except the walls are made of netting. I bought it because I wanted to stop the birds eating my strawberries, and I can't be bothered with making a bamboo frame. The instructions do not lie: you really can assemble this in a few minutes. Just like with a dome tent, you have some segmented poles that are held together by elastic. Pop them together and slide them into the channels on the tent. You then use the included pegs to hold the sides down. Just to make things even easier, there is a zippered door on one side, so you can get at your plants without dismantling everything. I also appreciated the slug-repellant copper lining on the edge. Nice touch.The whole thing comes in a compact carry bag, with a separate pouch to keep the ground pegs tidy. My only wish is that it were a little cheaper, but considering the hassle that it has saved, I think it's probably worth it.Most important of all, you have to respect whoever came up with the name. Genius.

I have bought five of these and have found them invaluable. They are easy to put up and take down and to store for the winter. I have used them for strawberries and brassica and they have been very stable even in high wind. The only problem is I am five foot tall and it is a stretch to weed at the back of the square. A second opening would be useful. Nevertheless, they are great and have enabled me to grow brassica again after I had given up for several years.
