10uF 25V 5x11mm Electrolytic Capacitor 10 UF MFD 25 Volt 0.2x0.43in Aluminum Capacitors (Pack of 15)

Used to fix tachometer function in 1991 Toyota Celica. Slightly larger than original, but worked just fine. Might work for other Toyotas of that vintage, but I can't say for sure. Two needed for repair, so having a few extra in case of mishap isn't a bad thing. Several videos on Youtube show how to do it, if your tach is dead or dying. Seems to be a common problem.

I'm always a little leery of buying electronic parts from Amazon. I'm afraid of getting poor quality off brand junk. But sometimes you need parts faster than what Digikey or Mouser are willing to deliver, and their costs are quite high. Sometimes you just need a few parts and fast. Luckily Amazon can sometimes deliver on small quantities of parts fast and cheep. I ordered these 10uf 25volt caps. The brand of this batch sent to me was AISHI series. 10uf 25V 85degree The statistics across this lot of 15 units: Average Capacitance: 10.51uF - High 11.78uF - low 9.47uF Average ESR: 2.43 ohms - High 3.30 ohms - low 1.80 ohms So according to the statistics, these are a good batch with no failed units and all measuring in a tight tolerance range.

These are 10 uF 25V polarized can capacitors. A sample tested out of the 15 that came in shown to be within 20% stated tolerance. The capacitors come in a nice little transparent storage box that also could be hanged on store or manufacturing shelving. These are polarized capacitors and the legs are about 2 mm apart. The only thing I didn't like about these particular capacitors is that the same seller sells other values of capacitors that are rated at 50V while this particular value is only rated at 25V and the size of the capacitors is about the same so there is no real reason why they couldn't have made all of the of them of the same voltage rating.

Some other people have seen qc issues with these, but they all seem to be functional and within an acceptable error range for my uses.

I fly a lot of HD quadcopters in the whoop 75mm class. I have noticed the video from my Walksnail HD system has noise in the image when in low light so I started looking for small capacitors. I would have liked a higher UF but the 5x11mm class is difficult to source. I am happy to report it cleaned up the image while only weighing 0.39 grams stock and 0.35 grams with only a small amount of "legs" left for soldering.

Lately I have been spending time building a few useful electronic projects. Some I build from kits that include all the parts, while for other gadgets I find a circuit and then I have to buy the parts separately. So that’s why I ordered these 10-microfarad electrolytic capacitors to keep on hand if I require that specific value for my next project. This type of capacitor is frequently used for filtering power supply voltages. The 10-microfarad capacitor is rated at 25 volts DC and measures 5 x 11 mm. Fifteen capacitors are supplied in a small, clear plastic case.

I quickly evaluated this on a tester and they’re all good. Low ESR, good quality. The stated tolerance in the product description is 20%, and in the lot I got all are within 9 UF to 11 UF range. We’ll see how well these age, but right now they’re great.

Tested the lot and only one was just outside of spec at 12.93uF. Most were within 10%. Good enough for prototyping/testing, imo. Couple of the leads were a bit bent, but nothing that was concerning. A couple caps were missing the negative silk screen indicator, which could be an issue if you cut the leads even and don't have a way to test for polarity.
