Excellent snorkel
Excellent purchase! Perfect for adults or children. Doesnโt allow water to flow in the top when you go underwater, some snorkels I purchased before this did even though they werenโt supposed to. Itโs flexible and much better quality than I wouldโve expected for the price. I may order another one for my granddaughter.

For being very very lazy
I like to float in my pool. My favorite position to do that is face down. The lifting my face out of the water breathing thing makes it less relaxing than I think it should be. I donโt know if this snorkel is any good, but if you want to float, face down and not be bothered to lift your head to breathe, this be the perfect device for not dying. Clip to the goggles and violaโ.

Adults with large lungs will find air flow both restrictive and the snorkel potentially dangerous.
If you are an adult - this snorkel is dangerous. Root cause is the narrow diameter of the snorkel tube near the top. The diameter of the tube is ok for kids with small lungs. I am an athletic adult who can run miles. I usually do not need to breath deeply, quickly and hard but with this snorkel every time I inhale deeply, fully and quickly I can make the check valve incorrectly vacuum itself closed. If the diameter of the tube was just an 1/8" bigger that would never happen but with this size tube I can make it happen at will. Basically if you are an adult with above average lung capacity, the sheer act of breathing hard can (will) suction the valve closed giving you no air at all. I can easily envision a situation where you are kicking hard, maybe against current/wind/waves and simply hard breathing causes your air to cut-off completely - panic ensues. I am very sure kids with small lungs will not find the air flow restrictive nor those with smaller lungs but as an athletic adult - this snorkel is dangerous. Returning the item.
