Worth the money
Usual good quality from oxo good grips, works well for the one handed rip

There’s a knack for releasing the paper
There is a definite knack for using this I found it quite easy my other holder was far more heavier and easier to use though I only replaced it as it was looking tired , if I can find a way of increasing the actual base weight this item would be near perfect, maybe some injected resin if only the manufacturer would do this , I shall try a fix other than that I can recommend this product.

why am i impressed by a paper towel holder lol
this is one of those boring household purchases that you don’t expect to have strong feelings about and yet here we are 💀 first of all, this thing is HEAVY. way more substantial than i expected, but that’s exactly why it works so well. i can genuinely grab and tear off one paper towel with one hand and the base doesn’t move AT ALL. the little tension arm is also just right. i’ve tried it with a brand new full roll and all the way down to an almost empty one and it still tears perfectly. weirdly satisfying every single time lol. switching out the roll is slightly more fiddly than i expected, but that’s genuinely the only complaint i could come up with. it stays put, hasn’t scratched my counter, and looks simple and clean enough to leave out. 5 stars for making paper towels unnecessarily satisfying 💗
